Tony Blair is but the latest of the many insiders who’ve been caught doing what they pretend to think it’s highly dangerous for everybody else to do: Neil Ferguson, Dominic Cummings, Dr. Fauci, the Cuomo brothers, Nancy Pelosi, Frank-Walter Steinmeier (president of Germany), the Irish political elite and pols all over Canada have shown themselves to be quite cavalier about masking/”social-distancing” when they’ve thought themselves to be off-camera. 

This is not hypocrisy, though everybody calls it that. It’s actually a sign that all those COVID-panic-pushers are just liars, because they obviously don’t themselves believe that masks and “social-distancing” are necessary—except for us, and not to keep us “safe,” but to keep us all in line.

And why not? Have his decisions—throughout the AIDS crisis, and in funding lethal “gain-of-function” research in Wuhan (and who knows where else?)—not long since proven Dr. Fauci’s deep devotion to our health and happiness? This photo showing him with, as usual, a cloth mask on (before the cameras) reconfirms his standing as a medical St. Francis of Assisi, subject of a reverential portrait by Joan Baez, and plaudits from Jane Fonda, among all too many other stellar COVID-19-propaganda choristers.

So much for Trump’s bluster about masks. As with Russia, and the COVID-19 vaccine, he says one thing while “his” administration does the opposite.

It seems that Trump’s function is to get his base in line; and it will work that much more effectively if/when COVID-20, or whatever, rolls out this winter.
