Vassar “requiring students to be vaccinated [sic] against COVID-19” before the fall semester (but leaves some loopholes)

Note that Pres. Bradley—despite her claim that Vassar’s “planning is based on science-driven data”—has no clue that those “vaccines” are experimental; that those “vaccines” do not prevent infection or transmission; that those “vaccines” appear to make those “vaccinated” likelier to shed the virus, thereby endangering the unvaccinated; that death rates have been spiking since the “vaccination” programs started; that college students are at very little risk of falling seriously ill if they should catch COVID-19; or that there are inexpensive and effective remedies if they should catch COVID-19, which obviates the need for those “vaccines.”

Note too that Pres. Bradley’s perfect ignorance is not unique, but typical of university and college management—and, as well, the professoriate—throughout the US and beyond; because they all follow the New York Times, whether they read Times articles per se or read/see/listen to the other “liberal” media, which take their lead from the Gray Lady’s propaganda.

In any case, it’s fortunate indeed for Vassar’s students that the school will grant exemptions on medical or religious grounds. Let’s hope that they’re not pressed to take a harder line.

We will be requiring students to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before arriving to campus for the Fall Semester, with exceptions for medical or religious reasons. If vaccination is not accessible in your area, we will work to get students vaccinated locally. We believe this is the best way to ensure the health and safety of everyone on campus.  Because our students will be fully vaccinated, we will no longer maintain a closed campus. With our return to in-person learning and a more typical residential model, students and visitors will be free to come and go on and off campus as they had prior to the pandemic. We are also re-committing to our core educational model, and therefore we will no longer be offering a remote learning option.

At the same time, we are continuing to monitor federal and state guidance for employer regulations regarding vaccination of employees, which continue to evolve. We strongly urge employees to get immunized against COVID-19 at the earliest opportunity, after consulting their physician.  As state restrictions allow for more employees to work on campus, widespread teleworking will transition to a flexible workplace policy that provides for Administrators to request some continued flexibility, with supervisor approval.  The policy is currently being developed and will be made available in June for review and planning.  The transition will occur as early as the beginning of the Fall semester.

Protocols for the fall will be dictated by local and state guidelines; the use of masks, social distancing and other expectations that have become commonplace during the pandemic will be determined as we near the start of the semester. As always, our planning is based on science-driven data and predicated upon local, state and federal public health guidelines. Thus, plans are subject to change depending on the conditions this fall.

The journey we have all been on the last year has been strenuous, and it has shown that together we can be strong. By caring for one another and being thoughtful of everyone’s needs, the Vassar community can weather even seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

As we continue to plan for the fall, I will keep you updated on new developments.

Thanks,

Elizabeth H. Bradley, President

Well, Mick’s SONG really gets it; but, sadly, HE does not

Looks like Bill Gates did get “into [his] bloodstream,” and went straight to his brain.

So let’s trust not the singer but the song.

OPEN LETTER to Sen. Brad Hoylman: Please challenge Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., to debate the merits and safety of the COVID-19 “vaccines”

Can someone check to see who/what funds Sen. Hoylman?

Mick Jagger REALLY gets it

This could be our anthem.

https://youtu.be/MN9YLLQl7gE

So that gives us a great quartet of rockers, who still have that spirit—no, the soul, to see, and feel, the evil of what’s going on, and sing out against it: Mick, who partnered with Dave Grohl on this song, along with Van Morrison and Eric Clapton.

And is that it? Yo, Paul? Bob? Joni? Smokey? Robbie? And is anybody younger standing up and singing out? That’s not a rhetorical question. Tell me. Any hip-hop artists telling truths about all this? How about, say, a eulogy for DMX?

Please, whether we were living then or not, let’s remember that Woodstock took place during a (real) pandemic: the Hong Kong flu, which (verifiably) killed up to 4 million people worldwide. And look back at how recklessly those jubilant thousands mingled, hugged, f*cked, ate and drank together. Since you’re online, you might want to give a listen to Joni Mitchell’s sad and lovely “Woodstock”—and then CSNY’s hard, punchy rendering, which too could be an anthem; because we, you, all of us, still have a right to that same joyous spirit, and in congregation, face to face, and hand in hand.

Tell Sen. Brad Hoylman to DEBATE Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., instead of trying to CANCEL him!

It pains me to call Sen. Hoylman out like this, since, as one of his constituents when he served on the New York’s City Council, I was very grateful to him for a most helpful intercession on my family’s behalf.

But now he’s doing something that I cannot tolerate—screaming (demagogically) that Twitter should “permanently suspend” Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s accounts, for “vaccine misinformation.”

Oh, really? So Sen. Hoylman knows enough about vaccines to get on his high horse and play the censor? I say we ought to let him know, first, that it is not his legislative function to engage in “cancel culture”; and, second—and more important—if he wants to posture as an expert on vaccine “misinformation,” he should show New Yorkers just how much he knows about that urgent subject by debating Bobby Kennedy, Jr., instead of gagging him.

This would send a helpful message not to him alone, but to his now-fascistic party, at least here in New York. (Since he no doubt harbors national ambitions, non-New Yorkers also should feel free to challenge him.)

Here’s Sen. Hoylman’s contact information:

This scientist WON’T take J&J’s vaccine, because the company CAN’T guarantee it will NOT alter your genetic code

From Dick Atlee:

It was a paradigm shift for science to come to understand the widespread and essential role of bacteria, fungi, and other “non-human” entities in enabling the human body to function at all — the microbiome. I was quite familiar with that, when a month or so ago I encountered a more recent immense paradigm shift biology is dealing with as it becomes ever more easy to decode genomes — that viruses have been inserting genetic material everywhere in nature, playing a significant role in nudging along the process of evolution over hundreds of millions of years.

So when the issue arose of whether the gene-based vaccines (m-RNA or Adenovirus-vectored) could possibly interact with the human genome, it didn’t seem quite as far-fetched as it might seem to someone not familiar the the larger picture just mentioned. But I knew too little about the issue to form a strong opinion.

Enter Dr. Biegeleisen, in this very clearly laid out explanation of why the idea isn’t at all far-fetched. As a PhD whose lab did work on exactly that issue back in the 70s, he is in a position to describe the mechanisms that are operative in that situation, and he does so in helpful detail, being clear but not talking down to the reader. It is a long article, but fascinating. If you feel a tendency to discount the idea off the bat, you might do well to check it out.

Notes from Airstrip One: UK gov’t predicts that (a) “third wave” of COVID deaths will be “dominated” by those who’ve been fully “vaccinated,” BUT (b) those shots ARE quite effective!

That may actually be truer than they intended.
