- He said he ‘stood with’ all those protesting against racial injustice and that their voices should be heard
- Within 24 hours, the town of Kenosha was besieged by rioters who torched cars and local businesses
- On August 24, there were 1,000 protesters at the courthouse alone but fewer than 500 cops on the ground
- Governor Evers only sent 125 National Guard troops on the first nights of the riot, to help only 300 local cops
- On August 25, the day of the Rittenhouse shooting, he agreed to send another 125 but that was it
- He says that’s all the local police departments and sheriff’s department ever asked for
- Trump and Mark Meadows, then the WH Chief of Staff, offered federal troops but Evers turned them down
- Rittenhouse joined other vigilantes on the ground who said they were there to protect businesses
- He told his trial that he only ever intended to give first aid and that he was caught alone in the crowds
- Ahead of the trial verdict, Evers deployed 500 National Guard troops to be on standby near Kenosha
- Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts on Friday afternoon – he is now a free man

Roughly 82,000 children between the ages of five and 11 are at least partially vaccinated against COVID-19, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Friday.
In late October, children ages five to 11 became the most recent age group approved for the COVID-19 vaccine with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted an emergency use authorization for the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech’s pediatric COVID-19 on children in that age range.
The dosage of Pfizer-BioNTech’s pediatric vaccine is one-third the amount used on adults but with a similar efficacy rate, according to both drug companies, administered in two doses about three weeks apart. Shortly afterward, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended the vaccine for younger children.

Do You Remember?
Once upon a time, a little over a year ago, in this land and all lands across the earth, people could walk freely, smiles visible, into businesses of their own choosing, and those businesses could open or close as they like.
Do you remember that?
When families could visit family members, when friends could visit friends. When people could hold weddings and funerals and birthday parties. When grandparents could hug grandchildren. When kids could go to school, play together, and sleep over at friends’ houses. When people who got sick stayed home until they were better, and the rest of the world went about its business. When people could encircle their dying loved ones. When mothers could hold their babies after they were born without the threat of separation pending arbitrary test results. When every death wasn’t attributed to a single cause and announced in the daily death toll dispatches. When a perpetual storm cloud of fear, paranoia, and tension didn’t hang over us, threatening to burst any moment. When people could travel freely, without having to show their papers. When people didn’t think twice about dining out, meeting for coffee, singing, exercising, and dancing. When you didn’t have to arrange for curbside pickup, schedule appointments for everyday errands, and have someone else select and deliver your groceries. When money wasn’t printed in the trillions, falling out of the sky and turning to toilet paper—which, as it turns out, would carry more value—on its descent. When people thought for themselves, decided for themselves, worked for themselves, took responsibility for themselves. When people weren’t deplatformed, shunned, reported, and unpersoned when they shared contrary opinions and scientific evidence. When this information wasn’t then scrubbed from the commons. When people didn’t turn against neighbors, friends, and family members. When it was considered rude to ask about someone’s health status and medical choices. When people helped people, cared for people, and touched (yes, literally!) people. When people didn’t let politics or religion come between them—okay, that one was more than a year ago. But you remember the rest, don’t you? You remember what it felt like? And you know it doesn’t feel that way now. At all. At all. At all.
Oh, how quickly the conditioning takes effect. Oh, how quickly the freedoms flit away with nary a second glance. Oh, how quickly the world becomes an internment camp—its invisible walls constructed by our collective learned helplessness—with rules about when, where, and what you can do, and we all line up for our allotted portions, saying please and thank you all the way.

The monitoring obligation [‘papers, please’] imposed by the Interior minister, Karl Nehammer, has already been rejected by the police union [!]. Furthermore, the Austrian Armed Forces Union have announced that they will participate in the mass gathering in Vienna [!!].
GOVERNMENT PANICKED
It is a smart slap to the face of the government, which, according to Austrian media sources, is showing more and more signs of panic. In an interview, the president of the Social-Democratic Union and of the Police Union, Hermann Greylinger, has left no doubt whatsoever about the fact that the police feel themselves incapable of carrying out this monitoring, according to the weekly Wochenblick. Haidinger [mentioned above] adds in his letter: “We herewith demand that the right to assembly be expressly protected and that it equally be taken into account in the current version of the draft ruling. Freedom of participation [assembly] and movement are legally protected throughout Austria.”

The Labor Party has previously asked for the permanent banning of their rivals, the UAP and its leader Craig Kelly. Craig Kelly, formerly a member of the Liberal Party, joined the UAP in late August after disagreeing with the Liberal Party’s strict Covid measures. Kelly has faced much censorship online. Since then, the party has paid $2.684 million for YouTube ads, a move that increased views of the party’s videos into the millions. However, most of those videos have been censored by YouTube. The report does not specify what guidelines were violated. Labor has previously complained that the UAP was using YouTube to undermine the country’s response to the pandemic, referencing videos Kelly has posted questioning the efficacy of the vaccines and promoting anti-parasitic drug ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19. Labor’s communication shadow minister Tim Watts wrote to Google in October, asking why the UAP had not been banned on YouTube despite having a few of its videos removed for violating policies. In parliament, Watts noted that Kelly himself had already received one strike from the video-sharing platform. “The question is: why is the member for Hughes and the UAP’s YouTube page still operating after repeatedly violating YouTube’s policies, let alone spending millions of dollars promoting medical misinformation during a pandemic? Given the member for Hughes’s record of spreading misinformation and his intent to match the 2019 election spend of the UAP, the potential for harm is obvious and Google must act in a transparent and proactive way.” Google appears to have responded to Labor’s complaints. The transparency report revealed that 12 of the last 16 video ads (about half of the 25 video ads since Kelly joined) the UAP has paid for have been removed. In a previous statement, Kelly criticized Labor for reporting his party’s videos to Google, saying “it is a new low that a political party would ask a foreign oligarch to censor freedom of speech in Australian politics. “The idea that an alternate opinion of an expert is misinformation is a claim I categorically reject,” Kelly said. BLOCKING ONLINE PAYMENTS  Chase pulled payment processing for Donald Trump Jr. event JPMoragan Chase Bank, one of the biggest banks in the US, canceled a deal to provide online payment processing for a Missouri-based conservative group that’s organizing a Donald Trump Jr. event. The Defense of Liberty PAC was organizing an event to be held on December 3 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Missouri. Donald Trump Jr. was expected to attend the event. The conservative PAC used WePay, a JPMorgan Chase-owned payment processor, to process payments for the events. On November 9, the company told Paul Curtman, the founder of the PAC, that it had canceled the contract and would be refunding the $30,000 already processed. The email also stated that the company would no longer do business with the organization in the future.  “It seems you’re using WePay Payments for one or more of the activities prohibited by our terms of service,” a copy of the message, forwarded to The Missouri Independent, states. “More specifically: Per our terms of service, we are unable to process for hate, violence, racial intolerance, terrorism, the financial exploitation of a crime, or items or activities that encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others regarding the same.” However, after being asked for a statement about the censorship, the company reversed its decision, saying that it was a mistake and insisting it would never cancel a contract because of a client’s political affiliation. “After further review, we determined that this organization didn’t violate the terms of service, and we are reaching out to the client to discuss reinstating the account,” the company wrote in a statement. “To be clear, we have never and would never close an account due to a client’s political affiliation.” Before the bank changed its mind, Curtman said he was surprised by the decision. He believed the decision was made because of his organization being politically conservative. “My personal sense of why they did this is kind of along the same lines we have been seeing in our culture in recent years,” Curtman said. “If someone has a different idea politically, there is an attempt to silence them or shut them down.” He continued: “It threw a wrench right into the middle of everything. We had vendors and small businesses and other people who were relying on this as part of their business. We are going to get back on track.” “I guess Chase has the right to do whatever they want in terms of who they do business with,” Fitzpatrick said on the Fox News show Tucker Carlson Tonight. “But in terms of who we, as the state of Missouri, are going to be doing business with, we won’t be doing business with any bank in the state treasurer’s office that chooses to discriminate against essentially half the population, the conservative half of the population.” NEW THREATS  Scotland teases extension of vaccine passport program In a few weeks, Scots might be required to show a vaccine passport to enter theaters, pubs, and restaurants, announced First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. Industry bodies have warned the move will have a negative impact on businesses after an already-difficult two years. In Scotland, vaccine passports are required for unseated indoor events with more than 500 people and unseated outdoor events with more than 10,000 people, as well as sexual entertainment venues and nightclubs. Addressing the Scottish Parliament, Sturgeon said that the vaccine mandate might be extended to other settings starting December 6. “To allow us to engage openly with businesses in the coming days about the pros, cons and practicalities, I can confirm that the kinds of settings that might be in scope would be indoor cinemas, theaters, and some other licensed and hospitality premises,” she said. The possibility of the vaccine passport mandate being extended to the hospitality industry has been criticized. A group of industry trade groups conducted a study, where over 5% of respondents said that “should the policy be extended…” and that they “would not survive without further economic support from government.” “The survey also shows that covid certification has a hugely negative impact on businesses already caught by the policy and any extension will have a devastating impact on the wider hospitality sector,” a collective statement from the group added. Scots show proof of vaccination through the NHS Scotland Covid Status app. Currently, the app shows if a person has received both doses of the vaccines. The First Minister said that soon the app will show if a person has received a booster shot. “We are currently looking at how we incorporate booster vaccinations into the vaccine certification and into the app,” she said. “Steps will be taken to ensure, particularly for international travel, where we are reliant on the requirements of other countries, that people are not disadvantaged and that the benefits of booster vaccinations are properly reflected.” The Scottish vaccine passport can be used at venues requiring certification in EU nations.CURRENTLY TESTING  DuckDuckGo introduces new app tracking protection for Android DuckDuckGo is introducing App Tracking Protection for Android feature in beta mode in its Android app. The new feature will allow users to block third-party trackers like Facebook and Google hidden in other apps. Some companies, including Google and Facebook, track you without your explicit consent on other apps they do not own. These hidden trackers are a privacy nightmare as they can track everything you do even when you are not using the app. Also, these trackers record your phone activity in real time. These trackers then send the data they collect to multiple third-party companies. The data is used to create detailed digital profiles for the purpose of targeted advertising. The owners of the trackers can also sell the data to other advertisers, data brokers, and even governments. According to data from AndroidRank.org, more than 96% of Android apps have hidden third-party trackers. 87 of those trackers sent data to Google and 68% of them sent data to Facebook. Similar results were found in another review conducted by AppCensus. Apple introduced App Tracking Transparency in a recent update to iOS. The feature allows iPhone and iPad users to opt-in or out of app tracking. There is no such feature in Android, which is the most popular smartphone OS globally. However, soon, through the DuckDuckGo app, Android users will be able to block third-party trackers. According to an article on the official DuckDuckGo blog, the App Tracking Protection feature is “free and blocks trackers it identifies in other apps from third-party companies (those different from the company that owns each app).” The feature will continuously block trackers in the background. You can view the blocked trackers as well as the tracking networks the data would have been sent to. You can also set notifications to get automatic summaries of blocked trackers. The privacy-focused company is launching the feature in beta. To access it, you have to join a private waitlist. “We’re letting new people in every week, so the sooner you join, the sooner you’ll be protecting your app privacy,” the company wrote. You can join the private waitlist by navigating to “Settings” then “App Tracking Protection” on the DuckDuckGo app.  The company claims it has launched the feature in beta while it works on “getting the experience just right.” While the feature is in beta, the company is welcoming feedback from users to make improvements before the full launch. FBI, CDC investigating vials labeled ‘smallpox’ found in freezer in Merck lab near Philadelphia — There were reportedly a total of 15 “questionable vials.” | 16 Nov 2021 | The FBI and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating “questionable vials” labeled “smallpox” and found in a freezer last night at a Merck facility outside Philadelphia, according to an alert sent to Department of Homeland Security leadership on Tuesday night. There were reportedly a total of 15 questionable vials, according to the unclassified “For Official Use Only” alert, a copy of which was obtained by Yahoo News. Five of the vials were labeled as “smallpox” and 10 were labeled as “vaccinia.” …The discovery of the vials prompted a lockdown of the facility, which has since been lifted. Bank of America Initiates Pilot Program Separating Vaccinated From Unvaccinated Employees | 18 Nov 2021 | A source who works with Bank of America has disclosed a pilot program beginning Nov. 18 that plans to separate vaccinated from unvaccinated employees at an administration building in Jacksonville, Florida. The source, who asked to remain anonymous, told The Epoch Times that the program was initiated as a way to bring employees back to the office after a period of working remotely during the pandemic. But the plan casts a dark shadow on our potential future society, the source said. “It’s segregation,” they said. “I’m blown away.”

Looks like we’ll find out who killed JFK before we get data on the COVID vaccine: FDA Asks Federal Judge to Grant it Until the Year 2076 to Fully Release Pfizer’s COVID-19 Vaccine Data By Aaron Siri | 17 Nov 2021 | The FDA has asked a federal judge to make the public wait until the year 2076 to disclose all of the data and information it relied upon to license Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. That is not a typo. It wants 55 years to produce this information to the public. As explained in a prior article, the FDA repeatedly promised “full transparency” with regard to Covid-19 vaccines, including reaffirming “the FDA’s commitment to transparency” when licensing Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine… [I]n September, my firm filed a lawsuit against the FDA on behalf of this group to demand this information. To date, almost three months after it licensed Pfizer’s vaccine, the FDA still has not released a single page. Not one. Instead, two days ago, the FDA asked a federal judge to give it until 2076 to fully produce this information. The FDA asked the judge to let it produce the 329,000+ pages of documents Pfizer provided to the FDA to license its vaccine at the rate of 500 pages per month, which means its production would not be completed earlier than 2076.
OSHA Suspends Implementation, Enforcement of Vaccine Mandate | 18 Nov 2021 | The Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) says it has suspended the implementation and enforcement of the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for private businesses. The announcement came shortly after a U.S. appeals court rejected a challenge by the Biden administration on Nov. 12 and reaffirmed its decision to put on hold OSHA’s mandate, which requires that businesses with 100 employees or more ensure that workers either be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Jan. 4, 2022, or be tested weekly and wear a mask. The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans stated in an opinion that OSHA’s mandate is “staggeringly overbroad,” and ordered it to “take no steps to implement or enforce the Mandate until further court order.” The court had previously issued a temporary halt to the mandate on Nov. 6, pending litigation.
‘Most vaccinated’ place on Earth cancels Christmas | 16 Nov 2021 | Amid a surge in Covid-19 cases, Gibraltar has canceled official Christmas events and “strongly” discouraged people from hosting private gatherings for four weeks. Gibraltar’s entire eligible population is vaccinated. The government of Gibraltar recently announced “official Christmas parties, official receptions and similar gatherings” have been canceled, and advised the public to avoid social events and parties for the next four weeks… The rise in cases, described by the government as “exponential,” comes despite Gibraltar having the highest vaccination rate in the world. Similarly well-vaccinated countries have also reported surges in Covid-19 infections recently.
COVID-19 outbreak at 99 percent vaccinated Connecticut nursing home kills 8, infects 89 | 16 Nov 2021 | Eight residents at a Connecticut nursing home have died in a COVID-19 outbreak at the facility in less than seven weeks, administrators said. Sixty-seven residents and 22 staffers at Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Canaan have tested positive for the virus since Sept. 30, administrators said in a statement Friday. A total of 48 residents and 21 staffers have since recovered at the facility, which is now being monitored by the state Department of Public Health, NECN reported. Of the 89 people infected, 87 staffers and residents were fully vaccinated at the nursing home, which houses only 70 residents, NECN reported.
DeSantis bill signing interrupted by ‘Lets go, Brandon!’ chants –DeSantis signed four bills limiting COVID-19 vaccine mandates | 18 Nov 2021 | A crowd supportive of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis chanted “Let’s Go, Brandon” as the governor prepared to sign a package of anti-COVID-19 vaccine mandate bills Thursday in Brandon, Florida. DeSantis signed four bills from the COVID-19 special legislative session into law, which will require private employers to allow vaccine exemptions including, but not limited to health or religious concerns; pregnancy or anticipated future pregnancy; and past recovery from COVID-19. The legislation also prevents schools from requiring students to be vaccinated, strips the surgeon general’s ability to mandate vaccines, and takes steps for Florida to exit the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). “Nobody should lose their job due to heavy-handed COVID mandates and we had a responsibility to protect the livelihoods of the people of Florida,” DeSantis said. And did that work? FBI Whistleblower Claims DOJ Used Counterterrorism Tools Against Parents – Republicans | 16 Nov 2021 | An unnamed whistleblower disclosed documents suggesting that the FBI is using its counterterrorism resources to investigate parents or individuals who threaten school board members, teachers, or other staff, according to a letter sent by the House Judiciary GOP dated Tuesday. The GOP letter included copies of the documents allegedly sourced from the FBI whistleblower that included an email sent by Carlton L. Peeples, who serves in the bureau’s Inspection Division, saying that the Counterterrorism and Criminal Division “created a threat tag, EDUOFFICIALS, to track instances of related threats.” “We ask that your offices apply the threat tag to investigations and assessments of threats specifically directed against school board administrators, board members, teachers, and staff,” the email reads. The email was signed by Counterterrorism Division Assistant Director Timothy Langan and then-Criminal Division assistant director Calvin Shivers.
Steve Bannon pleads not guilty to contempt of Congress charges | 17 Nov 2021 | Steve Bannon, a one-time adviser and longtime ally of former President Donald Trump, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to two counts of contempt of Congress, waiving an arraignment scheduled for Thursday. Bannon, who turned himself in to federal authorities on Monday, will still join his attorneys Thursday for a virtual “status conference.” Bannon, 67, was indicted last week by a federal grand jury after flouting a subpoena issued by the Democrat-led House select committee investigating [sic] the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Bannon had refused to either show up to testify or hand over documents requested by the committee, citing Trump’s argument that conversations between the two should be protected under “executive privilege.”
Rittenhouse judge bans MSNBC from courtroom after person accused of trailing jury bus –Judge Bruce Schroeder briefly addressed incident under investigation by Kenosha police | 18 Nov 2021 | The Wisconsin judge presiding over the case against Kyle Rittenhouse on Thursday banned staff from MSNBC from entering the Kenosha courthouse for the remainder of the trial. In a brief statement before the court Thursday, Judge Bruce Schroeder addressed an incident in which a person who identified himself as an employee for MSNBC allegedly followed a sealed bus with blocked out windows as it left the courthouse to transport jurors to an undisclosed location. “I have instructed that no one from MSNBC news will be permitted in this building for the duration of this trial,” Schroeder said. “This is a very serious matter and I don’t know what the ultimate truth of it is, but absolutely it would go without much thinking that someone who is following the jury bus – that is an extremely serious matter and will be referred to the proper authorities for further action.”
Kyle Rittenhouse prosecutors HELD BACK high-def drone footage of Kenosha shootings from defense and gave them low quality video – sparking them to file mistrial motion that could see teen walk free–Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger initially shared low quality drone footage from the night of the shooting with the defense –The defense claims Binger only shared the high-definition footage after evidence had closed on Saturday | 17 Nov 2021 | Prosecutors in the Kenosha shooter trial withheld evidence from the defense that was “at the center of their case,” only sharing the high-definition drone video footage on which they have hung their prosecution after the trial had concluded, DailyMail.com can reveal. Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger played the enhanced drone footage to the jury during his closing statements and claimed that it showed Rittenhouse “pointing his gun” at people — an assertion that opened the door to the state claiming Rittenhouse provoked the violence of the night of August 25, 2020. Now, in the motion obtained by DailyMail.com, Rittenhouse’s defense insist that the state only shared it with the defense after evidence had closed on Saturday, November 13.

We are conditioned to believe that all the most incredible writing “for children,” (which really means for the still innocent hearts of any age,) is known to us. The famous names. Not so! Amazing writing is largely unclaimed by the moribund children’s book publishing industry, which insists, increasingly, upon treating children like receptacles of woke.
The first time I read my older sister Bibi’s writings that could be described as “for children,” (but really isn’t) I wished I ran my own department at Scholastic, so I could buy the rights!
(When it comes to writing, I am unsparing and unbiased.)
Bibi began to write about her rabbits, beginning with the first one she rescued years ago—Sandra— in the voice of the rabbit herself, and the result was, to my ear, so much more enchanting than the typical animal voice because it was not at all fake or cloying. This voice was so poignant, raw, real, funny, and deeply moving, that I always, without fail, believed it was the rabbit Sandra speaking, when I read it. It is like a portal to a voice landscape, which can only be achieved by those who are masters of this difficult craft.
Bibi’s writings, following the often hilarious, sometimes sad, adventures of her three rabbits (one of whom, Boxer, is still with us) can now be read at her brand new Substack.
