Yeah THAT’S what I’m talkin’ about! Pure rage. What’s wrong with that emotion right now? CJH was asked in an interview how he responds to friends who tell him he needs to be in an insane asylum. He said he responds with “anger and aggression” because that’s the emotion he’s being attacked with. We’re too nice right now. Boomers are too…comfortable. If you’re not angry, you’re not awake.

“Where I live things are more or less going back to normal well apart from the unvaccinated not being able to visit dying relatives in hospital or having to wear masks at work visually signifying private medical information and that they are probably trouble makers and certainly not worthy of promotions but apart from that more or less normal well apart from government messages reminding the unvaccinated that they will have to quarantine if they come into contact with a positive covid “case” while the vaccinated can go about their business as long as they subject to two tests on the 2 and 5th day of being notified but apart from that more or less OK well apart from having to test before leaving the country but that’s a minor inconvenience depending on the tester but more or less back to normal well apart from everyone asking you whether you’ve had the vax non stop. I’ve taken to wearing a badge saying “unclean”.
No we are not back to the “normal” we are in an inbetweeny place on the edge of the abyss. Most people desperately trying to go back to that pre March 2020 place without realising it’s gone.”

Exactly, Andy. Why do so many people tolerate continual abuse? I think because it’s EASIER in the short term. It takes *effort* to get angry and oppose injustice, and sadly, the majority of individuals are too lazy to do that. 😝
Pat Benatar nailed her description of this kind of human behavior in her 1993 song “Everybody Lay Down,” which is a rant against sloth and apathy. Here’s an excerpt from the lyrics:
“Everybody go round, go round, go round,
Everybody lay down, lay down, lay down,
Don’t nobody make a sound,
Everybody lay down.
“Everybody give up, give up, give up,
Nobody hang tough, hang tough, hang tough,
Life a little too rough,
Everybody lay down . . . .
“Everybody’s wantin’ higher,
Everybody want to touch the fire,
Nobody willing to lay it all down.
“Everybody want heaven,
Everybody say ‘Amen!’
One thing is certain,
You gotta lay it all down.”
