It’s still ridiculous, but five days is a big improvement.

The boys (apparently it was two, not one) have been let back on the bus, and the company has changed its policies, due to all the media (social and print) attention. Still, future mask infractions will lead to a minimum of five days off the bus.
This is big news, whatever anybody thinks of Donald Trump; and yet it’s either been blacked out completely (as in the New York Times), or misreported, Goebbels-style, as “false” (the Washington Post has headlined it as “Trump’s new fake Biden scandal”); nor is it allowed on Facebook, or on Twitter.
Those hollering that Trump = Hitler, and are therefore glad to see this major news suppressed, or pooh-poohed as “false” though it’s inarguably true, are themselves exactly what they claim to see, and fear, in Trump’s “deplorables”: true-believing zealots who can’t tell truth from lie, and don’t want to know the difference, as they’re so filled with hate that they don’t care to try.
It doesn’t matter that Joe Biden intervened to get a righteous prosecutor fired in Ukraine, in order to protect his interest in Burisma, then lied about it publicly—on camera? It matters plenty, just as Obama/Biden’s backing for the neo-Nazi junta in that country matters plenty. Those issues matter vastly more than Hunter Biden’s crack problem, or his sordid sex life, which those emails also prove (and which would now be thundering everywhere if it were Eric Trump who’d been exposed).
This is yet another sign that “the Resistance” is far more corrupt than the pro wrestling Bad Guy in the White House—and that we’re in deep shit because of it.

Does this herald the onset of that dreaded “second wave,” replaying the Chinese drama that began this global horror in January? Or is it just an inconvenient flare-up of COVID-19, which China’s draconian lockdown was supposed to have annihilated?
It makes a big difference, as we’re now being nudged back into lockdown, as “cases” “surge” alarmingly. If China’s lockdown did NOT “crush the curve,” it means that lockdown doesn’t work, so the leadership of Canada, Australia, the UK and New York City have no more grounds for locking down again than they had for doing it in the first place.
On the other hand, it could be that this new outbreak in China will, insanely, be exploited to justify MORE lockdowns, there and everywhere—a move already “justified” by all those “cases” on the rise all over (except Sweden and Nicaragua). This would be a replay of what happened at the start, when China played a key role in ramping up the global terror, with scary images of people keeling over in the streets, “stricken by COVID-19.” (Similar images popped up in British outlets, suggesting global orchestration.)
In any case, they’re locking down all over, never mind the sketchy rationale, the horrendous consequences, or people’s growing opposition to it.

Dear Mark,
Thank you all the important information you disseminate. Re: the article from today’s daily digest about women in France being required to wear masks during labor and delivery– It states that this is “a practice which is not followed in the UK or the US.”
However, my daughter, who is 5 months pregnant with her second child, was told at a recent pre-natal appointment that the hospital where she plans to give birth (Kaiser in Baldwin Park, CA/LA area), will require her to wear a mask the whole time she is there, as this is their standard protocol. So it seems it is happening in the US after all.
Please let us know if you have more info, and if anyone is protesting this. Thank you!
