CDC Director Says Biden Admin to Roll Out Plan to ‘Educate and Counsel’ Unvaccinated Police Officers and Essential Workers | 24 Oct 2021 | CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on Sunday said the Biden regime is planning on providing “education and counseling” for unvaccinated police officers and essential workers…”Now, mandates by government, by private companies of essential workers have generally worked…but as you know, there are cases of police officers or health workers or pilots are walking off the job rather than get the vaccine. Are you still full speed ahead on mandates for essential workers to get vaccinated?” Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace asked. “…[W]e believe it is very important to get these people vaccinated,” Walensky said. “There is a plan, should these people not want to be vaccinated, towards education and counseling to get people the information they need so that they are feeling comfortable in getting vaccinated,” she added.
NZ PM Jacinda Ardern admits vaccine passports will create two-tier society –Vaccine passports will usher in social ‘traffic light system’ –It occurred to PM that vaccine passports can have ‘other uses’ than simply drive vaccination | 25 Oct 2021 | The prime minister of New Zealand has admitted that vaccine passports are segregating society into two different classes, by affording those who get the Covid jab more rights than to vaccination skeptics, who are in “the second tier.” And PM Jacinda Ardern said this with a smile in response to a New Zealand Herald reporter’s question, who recalled that she previously stated that the country’s Covid policies would create a two-tier system in her country… “That is what it is, yup,” Ardern said with a smile and a smirk, nodding her head… Ardern called the certificates — which are proving to be a highly politically and socially divisive issue in countries around the world — “tools for confidence.” Reports say that just under 60 percent of all eligible New Zealanders have gotten the jab so far, and on Friday, Ardern said that the figure would have to reach 90 percent before restrictions are lifted under a new strategy to fight the epidemic, dubbed “the traffic light system.” It will leave unvaccinated people unable to go to restaurants, gyms, and have access to similar establishments, while they will also be prohibited from gathering in groups larger than 10.
New Emergency Powers Bill: The Premier Will Be Able to Declare a Pandemic Even if There Are No Cases Within Victoria | 25 Oct 2021 | Controversial legislation is due to be tabled in Victoria which would grant the Premier an unprecedented level of power. The Emergency Powers bill will enter the Lower House on Tuesday, where it will likely succeed. It is expected to replace existing emergency powers. In an extraordinary move, the detail of the bill has been kept secret from the public. MPs have taken to social media to complain that they are only being briefed on the bill the night before voting on it, despite the bill’s extremely serious contents. It has been rumoured that if the legislation succeeds, the Victorian premier will be able to declare a pandemic even if there are no cases within Victoria…In other words, a permanent state of emergency could be created by the premier even if there was no outbreak.
Hillary Clinton’s Message to UK Prime Minister: ‘Introduce Vaccine Passports’ –Boris Johnson is one of the few leaders to be hesitant to introduce the controversial measures. | 26 Oct 2021 | Former US Secretary of State and former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has waded into UK politics and has said UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson should enforce vaccine passport mandates. She made the remarks in an appearance on BBC’s Andrew Marr Show. During the interview, Clinton suggested the enforcement of vaccine mandates in order to contain the spike of infections ahead of the winter. “I do think it is imperative that the Prime Minister do what he can to stop the rise in Covid in the UK. He doesn’t need to shut the society down but he does need to mandate vaccines,” Clinton said.
Large protest against vaccine mandate for city workers takes over Brooklyn Bridge | 25 Oct 2021 | So many people showed up for a protest march across the Brooklyn Bridge against the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate that for the better part of an hour, the bridge was a sea of people as far as the eye could see. Even though the number of people who turned out is dwarfed by the more than six million New York City residents who’ve been vaccinated, according to city records, the significant turnout at Monday’s protest and rally indicated that pushback against the mandate could be fierce, particularly among police officers and firefighters. All of the thousands of demonstrators said they’re against the mandate. It will require any city worker who’s not vaccinated on Monday be placed on unpaid leave.
Ivey directs agencies to resist COVID vaccination mandate | 25 Oct 2021 | Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey on Monday directed state agencies not to cooperate with the federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate, where possible, and instead help with the state’s efforts to file a lawsuit challenging the vaccination requirements. The directive is part of Republican officials’ efforts to resist the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate, but the impact of the Alabama order is unclear since it can only cover state executive branch agencies. Ivey signed an executive order forbidding executive branch agencies — which include agencies such as Medicaid, Mental Health and Human Resources — from penalizing employees or businesses for non-compliance with the federal vaccine mandate. If federal law requires the penalty, Ivey directed the state entity to take steps to notify the affected business or individual that Alabama does not condone the penalty.
185 Employees Leave Los Alamos Nuclear Weapons Lab Due to Vaccine Mandate | 24 Oct 2021 | The New Mexico lab that produced the world’s first nuclear bomb has lost 185 employees because of a COVID-19 vaccine mandate that took effect on Oct. 22, according to a lawsuit filed against the operator of the facility the same day. An additional 153 employees at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) were placed on leave without pay or are using vacation pay because they obtained a religious exemption, the lawsuit says. Twenty-six employees were granted medical exemptions… Two-thirds of all the work at the facility is focused on weapons programs. Nearly one in five of the employees at the lab hold Ph.D. degrees. Triad National Security LLC operates the complex as a contractor for the federal government.
GOP Doctors Caucus warns Biden healthcare vaccine mandate could worsen patient care, labor shortages –The doctors warned a ‘mass layoff of health care employees would be detrimental’ to the US | 25 Oct 2021 | The GOP Doctors Caucus sent a pair of letters to Joe Biden and the director of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) warning a vaccine mandate for healthcare workers could worsen patient care and healthcare labor shortages. The congressional caucus of healthcare experts sent letters led by Rep. Andy Harris, R-Md., to Biden and CMS Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure warning of the adverse affects a vaccine mandate might have on the healthcare industry. The lawmakers also warned that the American healthcare system already seeing labor shortage pressure on it “will be further — and perhaps catastrophically — strained by an inflexible COVID-19 vaccine mandate forcing frontline health care workers to choose between vaccination and continued employment.”
Vaccine Mandate Threatens Major Trucking Disruption, Industry Insiders Say | 24 Oct 2021 | American truckers don’t like taking orders. But the Biden administration has increased pressure on some of them to take the vaccine–willing or unwilling. All through the pandemic, truckers endured hardships to keep America’s infrastructure running… Now, with supply chains disrupted, Americans need them more than ever. But faced with the prospect of a mandated vaccination, many drivers are considering quitting. “I’d fight it,” said veteran trucker Mike Widdins, referring to a vaccine mandate. “I think a lot of us will be quitting.” Polls by trucking publications Commercial Carrier Journal and OverDrive indicate that up to 30 percent of truckers will seriously consider quitting if required to vaccinate. If they quit, the consequences for America may be massive. US Transport estimates that 70 percent of American freight goes by truck.
No vaccine, no problem: Indiana recruits Chicago cops upset by COVID mandates | 20 Oct 2021 | With thousands of Chicago police officers at odds with the city’s new COVID-19 vaccine mandates, officials in the neighboring state of Indiana are trying to recruit disgruntled cops, some of whom are being punished for not complying. As of Oct. 15, all of Chicago Police Department’s roughly 12,000 officers are required to share their vaccination status, outlets report, and those who aren’t vaccinated must get tested for COVID-19 twice weekly. “Hey Chicago police officers, we’re hiring!” an Indiana State Police spokesman tweeted on Thursday. “No vaccine mandate…lower taxes, great schools, welcoming communities.”
DeSantis: We are actively recruiting out-of-state police officers out of job due to vaccine mandates –The Republican governor slammed the ‘unconstitutional’ mandates | 24 Oct 2021 | Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis argued on Sunday that coronavirus vaccine mandates “will wreak havoc in the economy.” The Republican slammed the vaccine mandates during an exclusive interview with “Sunday Morning Futures.” “What Biden’s doing is unconstitutional. He does not have the authority to do this,” DeSantis told host Maria Bartiromo… “In Florida, not only are we going to want to protect the law enforcement and all the jobs, we’re actually actively working to recruit out of state law enforcement because we do have needs in our police and our sheriffs’ departments,” DeSantis told Bartiromo. “So in the next legislative session, I’m going to hopefully sign legislation that gives a 5,000 bonus to any out of state law enforcement that relocates in Florida,” he said.
Biden Administration Announces Vaccine Rules for Travelers Into US [With Exceptions, of Course, for Illegal Immigrants] | 25 Oct 2021 | The Biden regime is rolling out new vaccine requirements for international travelers coming into the United States. Starting Nov. 8, three new orders from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be put into place, according to a senior administration official. The first requires non-U.S. citizens traveling into the country, who are not immigrants, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding their flight. Officials say both digital and paper proof of vaccination will be accepted by international airlines.
FDA vaccine advisers vote to recommend Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for children 5 to 11 | 26 Oct 2021 | Vaccine advisers to the US Food and Drug Administration voted 17-0 with one abstention Tuesday to recommend emergency use authorization of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine in children ages 5 to 11. Members of the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee agreed the benefits of vaccinating younger children appeared to outweigh the risks, but some members appeared troubled about voting to vaccinate a large population of younger children based on studies of a few thousand. Pfizer has cut its vaccine to one-third of the adult dose for the children under 12 and said clinical trials showed this lower dose protected children well against symptomatic infection. The hope is it will cause fewer side-effects. [Or, the side-effects can be avoided entirely if people don’t risk experimental mRNA jabs.]
52,000 Breakthrough COVID-19 Cases Recorded In Indiana; 531 Fully Vaccinated Residents Dead | 24 Oct 2021 | More than 52,000 fully vaccinated residents in Indiana have suffered from a breakthrough infection since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the state data. A total of 52,484 breakthrough infections were reported in Indiana as of Thursday, Oct. 21. The figures represent 1.568% of the state’s vaccinated population, according to the Indiana Department of Health. The latest report from the state’s health department also showed that 531 fully vaccinated individuals in Indiana died of COVID-19 since the state confirmed its first case of novel coronavirus on March 6, 2020.
Three Ohio judges ‘die unexpectedly’ in nine-day span after vaccine mandate | 25 Oct 2021 | In July, stories appeared in media outlets about Ohio judges mandating mRNA and viral vector DNA injections as a condition of probation at sentencing for criminal defendants. Now, several of those judges, are themselves DEAD, possibly from the very vax they told others to take. Franklin County (Columbus) judge David Matia sentenced at least three people to injections at the time of publishing. Said county issued a vaccine mandate that went into effect last week. All 1,400 Franklin County employees were required to show proof of Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson injection last week, or be fired. But the instant story is in Cuyahoga County (Cleveland). Two judges — Peter Corrigan and David Matia — were featured in the July story for sentencing people to mRNA and viral vector DNA injections. Cuyahoga County also has a vaccine mandate that required all employees to receive the injections by October 15. And whether it’s karma or coincidence, the story picks up from there.
Email Shows Biden Ordered Afghanistan Evacuation Flights Be Filled to ‘Excess’ With Unvetted Refugees | 26 Oct 2021 | During America’s chaotic exit from Afghanistan earlier this year, the Biden administration issued a directive that evacuation flights be filled to “excess” with refugees who had not been properly vetted before arriving in America, according to an internal administration communication disclosed on Tuesday by Sen. Josh Hawley (R., Mo.). “Total inflow to the U.S. must exceed the number of seats available. Err on the side of excess,” reads an Aug. 16 email to U.S. officials involved in the exit from Afghanistan. “This guidance provides clear discretion and direction to fill seats and to provide special consideration for women and children when we have seats.” Hawley, who says he obtained the email through a U.S. official who was outraged by the Biden administration’s failure to vet Afghan refugees flown into America, published the email Tuesday afternoon on Twitter.
Meet Ray Epps – the Fed-Protected Provocateur Who Appears to Have Led the First 1/6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol | 25 Oct 2021 | In a House hearing on Thursday, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) questioned AG Merrick Garland about a mysterious man, Ray Epps, instructing protesters to enter the US Capitol building on January 5, and who later shepherded crowds toward the Capitol on January 6. The story of the mystery man, Ray Epps, featured in Rep. Massie’s video is in fact far more shocking than even the Congressman implies in the hearing. It’s a story so strange, and so scandalous at every turn, that it threatens to shatter the entire official narrative of the “Capitol breach” and expose yet another dimension of proactive federal involvement in the so-called “insurrection” of January 6th. If Revolver News’ previous reporting points to a proactive role of the federal government in relation to the conspiracy cases against Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, the Ray Epps story that follows suggests a similar, yet more egregious, explicit, direct and immediate degree of federal involvement in the breach of the Capitol itself.
Biden Admin Taps School Board Association Honcho For Post in Wake of Infamous Letter –Appointment is the latest indication of the Biden administration’s collaboration with the group | 25 Oct 2021 | The Department of Education earlier this month tapped the president of the National School Board Association to serve on a federal board that tracks student progress, the latest indication of the Biden administration’s collaboration with the group that compared parents to domestic terrorists. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona on Oct. 13 appointed National School Board Association president Viola Garcia to the National Assessment Governing Board, which develops the tests used to track student achievement across the country. Garcia was behind a Sept. 29 letter urging Joe Biden to have the FBI monitor school board meetings for potential violence. The Department of Justice formed a task force on Oct. 4 consisting of the FBI and Justice Department’s national security and civil rights divisions, sparking outrage from parents groups who say the administration is trying to stifle parents who oppose mask mandates and left-wing curricula.
Students Walk Out in Loudoun County: District ‘Protects Rapists’ | 26 Oct 2021 | Students at Broad Run High School in Loudoun County, Virginia, walked out of school Tuesday morning in support of sex assault victims in the school district and to demand safety. The walkout was organized, according to WUSA9 News, with leaders asking students and teachers to leave their classes for ten minutes on Tuesday. According to the report, the walkouts were scheduled throughout multiple schools in the Loudoun County district.
Kyle Rittenhouse case: Prosecutors can’t call wounded men ‘victims’ during upcoming trial, judge rules –Rittenhouse’s defense team can describe 3 wounded men as ‘rioters,’ ‘looters’ or ‘arsonists,’ with exceptions | 26 Oct 2021 | A Wisconsin judge has laid out the final ground rules on what evidence will be allowed when Kyle Rittenhouse goes on trial next week for shooting three people, two fatally, during a protest last year, ruling that he will prohibit both sides from using certain words to describe the wounded individuals, according to reports. Monday’s hearing was likely the last before Rittenhouse heads to trial Nov. 1 for the shootings during destructive demonstrations in Kenosha on Aug. 25, 2020, two days after a White police officer in that city shot a Black man, Jacob Blake, in the back while responding to a domestic disturbance. Rittenhouse, 18, of Antioch, Illinois, was among a number of people who traveled to the Wisconsin city that night, with the teen telling reporters on the ground there that he was in Kenosha to guard a business and to help if people got hurt.
This year’s Thanksgiving feast will wallop the wallet | 25 Oct 2021 | Thanksgiving 2021 could be the most expensive meal in the history of the holiday. Matthew McClure paid 20% more this month than he did last year for the 25 pasture-raised turkeys he plans to roast at the Hive, the Bentonville, Arkansas, restaurant where he is the executive chef. And Norman Brown, director of sweet-potato sales for Wada Farms in Raleigh, North Carolina, is paying truckers nearly twice as much as usual to haul the crop to other parts of the country… Nearly every component of the traditional American Thanksgiving dinner, from the disposable aluminum turkey roasting pan to the coffee and pie, will cost more this year, according to agricultural economists, farmers and grocery executives.
Climate Financing Plan Won’t Help Climate, but Will Push Country to Totalitarianism – Experts | 26 Oct 2021 | The Biden administration’s plan to impose a slew of financial regulations in order to counter climate change would end up having little impact on reducing global temperatures. But the measures would be quite effective at hurting economy, expanding government authority, and moving the country toward totalitarianism, according to several experts… [CLG Founder] Michael Rectenwald, former NYU professor and authority on corporate socialism, predicted the ESG disclosures would serve to signal one’s ideological compliance, similar to how shop owners in socialist countries would plaster their stores with political slogans, as described in the famous essay “Power of the Powerless” by former Czech President Vaclav Havel. “Either don the right symbolics (the party slogans, or in this case, ESG index score) or face the consequences,” Rectenwald told The Epoch Times via email. “Incidentally, this accords with my arguments regarding what I have called ‘corporate socialism.'” “While approved corporate ‘stakeholders’ are not necessarily monopolies, the effect of the ESG index is the vesting of as much capital in these corporations as possible, while eliminating producers deemed either unnecessary or inimical. ESG scores work to eliminate competition.”
Personal Carbon Allowances: Who Determines ‘Good’ and ‘Bad’ Consumption, and Who Regulates the Regulators? | 20 Oct 2021 | It’s lunchtime and you’re hungry. You step into a local restaurant to grab a hamburger. As you are about to complete the transaction…you are informed you have exceeded your carbon credit for the month. Your purchase is declined. No hamburger for you. If this seems far-fetched, just consider that less than two years ago, lockdowns, universal mask-wearing and so-called “health passports” also would have appeared, to most, to be the subject of a dystopian science-fiction thriller. The impetus for the “no hamburger for you” scenario stems from proposals, increasingly popular in scientific and policymaking circles, for the implementation of “personal carbon allowances” (PCAs)…The COVID pandemic, and the extraordinary measures implemented in response to it, may have helped lay the groundwork for public acceptance of the PCA scheme. An August 2021 article in Nature, “Personal Carbon Allowances Revisited,” made precisely this point. The article directly connected the measures imposed during the pandemic with the argument in favor of PCAs.
