When I discussed this issue in that fatal first-day propaganda class last fall, I said that there eight such studies. In fact, there were ten. Now we have twelve. I would have had the class read those, as well as the more recent studies finding otherwise (none of them RCT’s).
So there are lots of people who owe me an apology; but I don’t expect to get it—nor do I expect those people (some of them old, close friends) to see why they owe me one.
That’s life (and the power of propaganda based on fear).
