Assemblywoman Sandy Galef sent me a short email to state that she opposes Assembly Bill A416, which amends NY health law.
A416 is the bill calling for “removal and detention” of people showing signs of illness. According to Galef, the bill was reintroduced but dates back to 2015.
She said “I certainly would not vote favorably on this legislation.”
People in NY Assembly District 95 might want to send her a note to let her know they agree with her.
