New Yorkers, Bill A416 allows “removal and detention” of people showing signs of illness. Let Sandy Galef know that you SUPPORT her stand against it

Professor Miller,

Please pass this along to anyone you know who lives in NYS Assembly District 95, which covers northwestern Westchester County and part of Putnam County.

Assemblywoman Sandy Galef sent me a short email to state that she opposes Assembly Bill A416, which amends NY health law.

A416 is the bill calling for “removal and detention” of people showing signs of illness. According to Galef, the bill was reintroduced but dates back to 2015.

She said “I certainly would not vote favorably on this legislation.”

People in NY Assembly District 95 might want to send her a note to let her know they agree with her.

Thank you.
