Ruling on Assange this Monday (and it does not look good)

What with the daily deluge of important news not “fit to print” by the NYTimes et al., and my own human limitations, I’ve been remiss in sharing updates on the plight of Julian Assange, whose trial will culminate this Monday, with a ruling by Judge Vanessa Baraitser. I regret this, as his fate has foretold the fate of countless others, and will affect us all, even most of those who have attacked him.

Considering how she’s behaved throughout that dismal farce, it does not look good. Here’s a piece, from CovertAction Magazine, on its implications for the rest of us; and, below that, a link to Consortium News, which will be covering Monday’s events intensively.
