“Just a bit strange”: outbreak of strep throat in Michigan school district baffles and alarm health officials (who think that MAYBE it has SOMETHING to do with face masks)

They think maybe the masks weren’t laundered sufficiently, and/or that some were placed on contaminated “surfaces.” That it might be due to the mask mandate itself is something they dare not suggest, or even imagine.
