Masks increase the risk of fatal falls among the elderly

This very lucid doctor explains why. (The annual global toll of such falls is 650,000, he says.)

Yet another way to rid the world of all those aged “useless eaters.”

p.s. Minnesotans also can be fined “up to $25,000 per occurrence” of “THREATENED violations of [the] Executive Order”

From the same friend:

I even forgot to mention, also from the “Enforcement” provision, the fines of “up to $25,000 per occurrence” for “THREATENED violations of [the] Executive Order” (my emphasis).  If I read the wording correctly, that amount is not even the maximum.  They can add to it the state’s costs of investigation and legal fees and “other equitable relief.”

Overview of recent studies of masks and respirators (and hand-washing)

The studies fail to prove that masks and ventilators are effective barriers against the spread of respiratory viruses.

Also—and crucially:
“Harms associated with physical interventions were under-investigated.”

Minnesotans now face 90 days in jail, or a $1000 fine, if they socialize—anywhere—with “anyone” who doesn’t live with them

Remember “Love Is All Around,” the song played over the credits of  “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” set in Minneapolis? “Who can turn the world on with a smile,” and so on?

What will it take to get the people there—and everywhere in these no-longer-United States (the “blue” states in particular)—to stand up  and say no to this insanity?

From a friend:

You’ve probably seen the following series, about Minnesota’s latest police-state order:

Scans of the Executive Order are #2 and #3 in the series:

After banning people meeting with anyone outside their own household, inside or outside (provision 6(a)), the “10. Enforcement” provision adds in fluent Newspeak: “Nothing in this Executive Order is intended to encourage or allow law enforcement to transgress individual constitutional rights.”

Link to the new study, in Nature, of asymptomatic carriers

This very detailed study, out of China, tacitly (and unsurprisingly) endorses the long lockdown in Wuhan. Nevertheless, its findings are essential to the argument that all the business shutdowns, school closures and masking by healthy people have no scientific basis whatsoever.

In summary, the detection rate of asymptomatic positive cases in the post-lockdown Wuhan was very low (0.303/10,000), and there was no evidence that the identified asymptomatic positive cases were infectious. These findings enabled decision makers to adjust prevention and control strategies in the post-lockdown period. Further studies are required to fully evaluate the impacts and cost-effectiveness of the citywide screening of SARS-CoV-2 infections on population’s health, health behaviours, economy, and society.
