Assange extradition is a danger to the world, says UN Rapporteur on Torture

Julian Assange was the canary in the coal mine, vis-a-vis journalism in the “democratic” West.

From Kristina Borjesson:

Dr. Nils Melzer, UN Rapporteur on Torture talked to The Whistleblower Newsroom about his bombshell book, THE TRIAL OF JULIAN ASSANGE: A STORY OF PERSECUTION. In the interview, Professor Melzer, who teaches international law as well as being the UN’s special rapporteur on torture, describes in searing detail the massive multinational malfeasance, including torture, to which Assange has been subjected and warns that should he be extradited to the US, the world will pay a high price right along with Assange.
