IRS would track all bank transactions over $600 under Biden plan; businesses revolt | 27 Sept 2021 | A major component of Joe Biden’s plan to raise revenue to pay for his trillions of d-llars in new federal spending is now under fire from trade associations across the country. The Biden administration has made clear its plan to beef up IRS auditing by expanding the agency’s funding and power. Biden’s latest proposal would require banks to turn over to the Internal Revenue Service bank account information for all accounts holding more than 600. In a sharp pushback against the proposal, more than 40 trade associations, some of which represent entire industries or economic sectors, signed a letter to U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., raising the alarm about the plan.
COVID-19 – The Spartacus Letter | 27 Sept 2021 | On September 26, 2021, a scientist published the following document about COVID-19, outlining complete disease function and treatment, and revealing this outbreak to be a criminal conspiracy of such magnitude as to defy belief. The scientist did this anonymously, fearing employment retaliation for revealing these truths, which have been known for over a year in the medical and scientific communities. The scientist cites irrefutable medical facts about the disease itself, outlines the effort to thwart successful treatment of the disease outside a leaky and dangerous gene therapy masquerading as a “vaccine,” and explains how this process has resulted in the wholesale slaughter of innocent people around the world. Here is the Spartacus Letter, which can also be found here.
Physicians Declaration – Global COVID Summit – Rome, Italy –International Alliance of Physicians and Medical Scientists – September 2021 [UPDATE: as of 7pm ET on 9/27 over 5,200 doctors & scientists have signed the Rome Declaration. Please join us by reading and signing below.] We the physicians of the world, united and loyal to the Hippocratic Oath, recognizing the profession of medicine as we know it is at a crossroad, are compelled to declare the following; WHEREAS, it is our utmost responsibility and duty to uphold and restore the dignity, integrity, art and science of medicine; WHEREAS, there is an unprecedented assault on our ability to care for our patients; WHEREAS, public policy makers have chosen to force a “one size fits all” treatment strategy, resulting in needless illness and death, rather than upholding fundamental concepts of the individualized, personalized approach to patient care which is proven to be safe and more effective …NOW THEREFORE, IT IS: RESOLVED, that the physician-patient relationship must be restored… RESOLVED, that we invite patients, who believe in the importance of the physician-patient relationship and the ability to be active participants in their care, to demand access to science-based medical care.
Navy SEALs Told They’re Undeployable If They Don’t Get COVID-19 Vaccine – Lawyers | 28 Sept 2021 | Navy SEALs have been informed by their superiors that they won’t be deployed if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine, even if they’re granted a religious or medical exemption, according to lawyers representing the elite special operations troops and a document seen by The Epoch Times. “What they’ve been told is if they apply for a religious accommodation, they will no longer be deployable,” R. Davis Younts, who is representing seven SEALs and is in talks to take on approximately 20 others, told The Epoch Times. Timothy Parlatore, whose firm represents a number of SEALs and other service members concerned about the vaccines, said his clients have also been given a similar ultimatum. Some SEALs have even been sent home mid-deployment for refusing a vaccine, one of his clients told him.
Biden administration ‘strongly opposes’ honorable discharge for service members who refuse COVID-19 vaccine | 22 Sept 2021 | The Biden administration has come out against an amendment to the defense budget that would prevent the Pentagon from dishonorably discharging service members who refuse to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The Office of Management and Budget said in a statement Tuesday that the administration “strongly opposes” the amendment, arguing that if it’s implemented, it would “detract from readiness and limit a commander’s options for enforcing good order and discipline when a Service member fails to obey a lawful order to receive a vaccination.” …Tennessee Republican Rep. Mark Green, a veteran, has led the push to prevent the military from discharging service members who refuse the vaccine with any distinction other than honorable via the National Defense Authorization Act.
United Airlines to lay off nearly 600 workers who refused to get vaccinated | 28 Sept 2021 | United Airlines will begin the process of laying off roughly 600 employees — less than 1 percent of its workforce — who refused to comply with the company’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate, it announced Tuesday. The Chicago-based airline said that 99 percent of its workforce provided proof of vaccination prior to a Monday deadline. United will move to fire those who did not seek an exemption or provide proof of vaccination, but the carrier will give them one more chance to comply with the mandate during the separation process. The percentage of vaccinated United employees excludes the less than 3 percent of the company’s 67,000 employees who sought a religious or medical exemption. Six United employees filed a lawsuit against the airline last week over its policy to put exempt employees on unpaid leave.
Protesters Against Vaccine Mandates in NYC: ‘This Is a Turning Point’ | 28 Sept 2021 | New Yorkers gathered for the second time this month at Foley Square in Manhattan to protest vaccine mandates. New York teachers and other Department of Education staffers were mandated to take the vaccine by city authorities. The mandate was supposed to take effect on Sept. 27, but was temporarily blocked by a federal judge on Sept. 24. However, a federal appeals panel ruled in favor of the mandate hours before it was scheduled to begin.
Northwell Health first to fire hospital staff who refuse vaccinations | 27 Sept 2021 | It’s D-Day for mandates. New York’s largest hospital system, Northwell Health, began sacking staff who refused to get their coronavirus vaccine shots as Gov. Kathy Hochul refused to yield on her Monday deadline for health worker inoculations. Hochul stuck to her guns as many of the state’s major hospital and government employee unions continued their court battle to get the mandates tossed. Northwell — which operates Lennox Hospital in Manhattan and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens — confirmed it had fired roughly two dozen managers Monday after they repeatedly failed to get their shots.
Foreign workers could replace NY’s unvaccinated hospital, nursing home staffers – Hochul | 22 Sept 2021 | The nearly 20 percent of workers at hospitals and nursing homes who refuse to get vaccinated against COVID-19 will be replaced — potentially by foreigners — once the state’s mandate goes into effect next week, Gov. Kathy Hochul said Wednesday. Hochul told reporters in Rochester that she hoped that all unvaccinated employees would meet Monday’s deadline. “To those who won’t, we’ll be replacing people. And I have a plan that’s going to be announced very shortly,” she said. Hochul said state officials were “working closely with various hospital systems to find out where we can get other individuals to come in and supplement places like nursing homes. We’re also reaching out to the Department of State to find out about visas for foreign workers, on a limited basis, to bring more nurses over here,” she said. [Recall the prime directive by these terrorists: destruction of the US from within.]
Federal judges: NYC can impose vaccine mandate on teachers; attorneys to petition Supreme Court to intervene | 27 Sept 2021 | The nation’s largest school district can immediately impose a vaccine mandate on its teachers and other workers, after all, a federal appeals panel decided Monday, leading lawyers for teachers to say they’ll ask the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene. The three-judge panel of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan issued a brief order late in the day that lifted a block of the mandate that a single appeals judge had put in place on Friday. After an adverse ruling from a Brooklyn judge, a group of teachers had brought the case to the appeals court, which assigned a three-judge panel to hear oral arguments Wednesday. But the appeals panel issued its order Monday after written arguments were submitted by both sides. Attorney Mark Fonte, who brought the lawsuit on behalf of teachers and others, said in a statement that he and attorney Louis Gelormino were immediately petitioning the Supreme Court to intervene.
Parents, Lawmakers Sue Over New York’s School Mask Mandate | 27 Sept 2021 | A group of New York parents and two local legislators are suing to overturn the state’s requirement for school children to wear masks. They allege the mandate was issued illegally and wouldn’t stand up to scrutiny if the state tried to pass it through the correct procedures. They’re asking the court to toss the mandate as “arbitrary and capricious.” State Sen. George Borrello (R-Sunset Bay), one of the plaintiffs, said he’s hearing the majority of his constituents in the Niagara Falls area are against masking children. His gripe, however, is mainly with what he sees as the usurpation of power by the governor.
Hospital System That Serves Four States Fires 175 Workers After Vaccine Mandate | 28 Sept 2021 | Days after announcing that about 375 healthcare employees would be suspended, a North Carolina-based hospital system confirmed Monday that around 175 workers were fired in one of the largest-ever mass terminations due to a COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Several days ago, Novant Health announced that around 375 of its employees had been suspended and were given five days to comply with the company’s mandate. “They will have an opportunity to comply over a five-day, unpaid suspension period,” the company’s release said. “If a team member remains non-compliant after this suspension period, he or she will have their employment with Novant Health terminated.”
Mask, COVID-19 vaccine mandates remain in place after Connecticut Senate extends Gov. Lamont’s emergency powers until at least February | 28 Sept 2021 | After a sharp, partisan debate about the severity of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the state Senate voted Tuesday to extend Gov. Ned Lamont’s (D) emergency powers for a sixth time — pushing the powers to nearly two full years. Following nearly four hours of debate, the measure passed by 18-15 with two Democrats — Senators Cathy Osten of Sprague and Dennis Bradley of Bridgeport — breaking with their party and voting with the Republicans against the extension. The Senate vote, in the form of a resolution, assures Lamont will retain the emergency powers through early next year. The House passed the extension Monday by 80 to 60 with 11 lawmakers absent… “How about the Big E, governor? Did you enjoy?” State Sen. Rob Sampson (R-Wolcott) said, adding that he did not see Lamont wearing a mask at the annual festival in Massachusetts. “How dumb does the governor think we are? …It’s pretty clear that he doesn’t believe it’s an emergency…As far as I know, you can still take a tour of the state Capitol building. We’re even taking in Afghan refugees…There’s in-person bill signings without masks…You cannot have it both ways.”
Federal judge temporarily blocks South Carolina’s ban on school mask mandates | 28 Sept 2021 | A federal judge on Tuesday temporarily blocked South Carolina’s statewide ban on school mask mandates, arguing that the provision discriminates against students with disabilities. Judge Mary Geiger Lewis for the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina granted a motion for a preliminary injunction against the one-year law that had been written into the state’s budget and put school districts at risk of losing funding should they require students and staff to wear masks. The ACLU of South Carolina had filed a lawsuit against the provision on behalf of two disability advocacy organizations and a group of South Carolina parents of children with disabilities, such as asthma and autism. The judge sided with the plaintiffs Tuesday, comparing the mask mandate to schools being required to add ramps “to accommodate those with mobility-related disabilities so they could access a free public education.”
Republican Lawmakers Question Attacks on Ivermectin as COVID-19 Treatment | 28 Sept 2021 | A group of Republican lawmakers threw their support behind doctors who advocate for the right to try ivermectin, an inexpensive anti-parasitic drug, for treating COVID-19. Ivermectin is the latest drug caught in controversy after demand surged dramatically in August… Critical care physician Pierre Kory describes correctly administered ivermectin as “a gift” in the fight against COVID-19. “I know ivermectin works. I’ve been using it to treat patients for 10 months now,” Kory told The Epoch Times. During the pandemic, Kory led intensive care units in several hotspots, including New York City. He is one of the founding members of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance, which “strongly recommends” the use of ivermectin in both the prevention and treatment of the virus. Kory briefed more than 20 members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus on Sept. 27 about the efficacy of the drug. During the briefing, Kory claimed that ivermectin has helped reduce COVID-19 deaths by 88 percent with early treatment and by about 75 percent in cases of hospitalization, based on data from Mexico City and Misiones, a province in Argentina where a large number of patients were treated with ivermectin.
North Dakota Republican latest House breakthrough COVID-19 case | 26 Sept 2021 | Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-N.D.) tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, becoming the latest breakthrough case in the U.S. House. Armstrong wrote in a statement posted to Twitter that he received a positive test after feeling mild symptoms. He said he has been fully vaccinated since January, and will quarantine for 10 days. “After experiencing mild symptoms I took a COVID test, and the result was positive. I have been fully vaccinated since January, and I am taking all precautions and recovering at home in North Dakota. I have been advised by my doctor to quarantine for ten days,” Armstrong wrote in a statement.
Outspoken Marine officer who went viral blasting military leaders over Afghanistan is jailed – report –Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller rose to internet stardom by posting video slamming US withdrawal from Afghanistan | 28 Sept 2021 | Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, the officer who went viral for blasting the military’s leadership amid the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, has been sent to the brig, according to a report. “All our son did is ask the questions that everybody was asking themselves, but they were too scared to speak out loud,” Scheller’s father, Stu Scheller Sr., told Task & Purpose. “He was asking for accountability. In fact, I think he even asked for an apology that we made mistakes, but they couldn’t do that, which is mind-blowing.” Scheller first rose to internet stardom by posting a video to Facebook blasting military leaders for the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, questioning their command decisions on the events leading up to and during the final evacuation effort.
Austin, Milley Say White House Was Advised to Keep US Troops in Afghanistan | 28 Sept 2021 | Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley had cautioned the White House that a full withdrawal of forces would likely result in a Taliban takeover — but by the time Joe Biden asked him directly in late August whether any forces should stay, it was too late, the nation’s top military leader testified Tuesday. At a hearing of the Senate Armed Service Committee, members on both sides of the aisle had pointed questions about the evacuation and the longer-term mistakes, and the hearing was the first time that both Milley and U.S. Central Command chief Gen. Frank McKenzie were able to publicly state that they had wanted to keep as many as 2,500 U.S. forces in Afghanistan post-withdrawal. Last month, Biden told ABC that none of the commanders had advised him to leave a small troop presence in Afghanistan. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Milley testified that commanders’ concerns — that a full withdrawal could hasten Taliban takeover — were conveyed to the Biden White House in the months leading up to the Aug. 31 withdrawal deadline.
Border Patrol was ‘thrown under the bus’ by Biden administration, top union official says –Biden administration used Border Patrol horse images to deflect blame, union vice president says | 27 Sept 2021 | Border patrol agents are mad and upset that leadership is throwing them under the bus, a top official with the agency’s union told Fox News in Del Rio, Texas. “The agents feel like – at all levels of management, from [Customs and Border Protection] to [the Department of Homeland Security] and to the White House – that they’ve been thrown under the bus because no investigation has been completed, yet you’re hearing the president say these people will pay,” National Border Patrol Council Vice President Jon Anfinsen told Fox News. “The secretary echoed those sentiments,” he continued. “And then Friday, of course, CBP’s commissioner basically said the same thing.”
Gov. DeSantis to investigate Facebook for alleged violations of election laws –DeSantis has directed Florida’s secretary of state to look into the matter | 27 Sept 2021 | Gov. Ron DeSantis has directed Florida’s secretary of state’s office to launch a probe into whether Facebook has violated any of the state’s election laws through its program granting purported preferential treatment to some candidates. The governor pointed to The Wall Street Journal’s bombshell report from earlier this month regarding internal documents about the social media giant’s XCheck program, which Facebook itself admits grants a second level of review for high-profile users like politicians – but not every candidate in every race. “It’s no secret that Big Tech censors have long enforced their own rules inconsistently,” DeSantis said in a statement announcing the move on Monday.
$3.5T spending package includes big money for ‘tree equity,’ bias training and more –Republicans, some pivotal Democrats blast extra spending as unnecessary | 27 Sept 2021 | Nearly 79 billion for the IRS, 12 billion for electric cars, 3 billion for “tree equity,” 1 billion to turn government facilities into “high-performance green buildings,” and new funding for gender identity issues and bias training — Fox News can now reveal these and other controversial spending items in Democrats’ multi-trillion-dollar reconciliation package, following the House Budget Committee’s release and approval of the full draft legislation on Saturday… Democrats on the Judiciary Committee are promising another 2.8 billion to increase the capacity of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to efficiently adjudicate applications and to reduce case-processing backlogs. Those applications are expected to be created by another part of the bill, which would give lawful permanent residence to certain entrants into the United States.
GOP blocks debt limit hike, government funding | 27 Sept 2021 | Senate Republicans on Monday evening blocked a measure to fund the government and suspend the debt ceiling, carrying through on their threat to not deliver votes for a Democratic measure to raise the government’s borrowing limit. The vote tally was 48-50. Sixty votes were needed to advance the measure. No Republicans voted for the legislation.
