I’d heard that Chomsky responds to emails, so I asked him if he still believed that the MIC is mostly subordinate to POTUS.
No answer.

Corporate dominated democratic party? I believe that would be both parties.
The narrative given by the mainstream, both republicans and democrats, is the problem. It makes you choose between safety and losing your livelihood.
Maybe the government should have halted loans, paid everyone’s wages until the pandemic is done? They seem to have no issue with printing trillions (21 to 29 trillion since 2008), for Wall St. to perform stock buy backs and put their money in non taxable hidden accounts.
