CAVEAT on NIH and Ivermectin

I got carried away. (Just over-optimistic, I guess!)

NIH is not recommending Ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment, but no longer not recommending it, declaring itself “neither for nor against” it. So the drug is now a therapeutic option for US doctors treating COVID-19.

So why did NIH revise its stand? If it was due to the abundant evidence that Ivermectin works, why has it not done the same with HCQ?

Too bad we don’t live in a democracy, where such policies would be determined on the basis of some public give-and-take, and revised or modified transparently.
