ATLANTA GA – On November 6th 2020, an interim election result upload from Fulton County to the office of the Secretary of State (SOS) showed former Vice President Joe Biden’s November 3rd General Election vote totals increasing by 20,000 while President Trump’s totals appeared to have decreased by 1,000 votes.
This revelation was formally released in an affidavit from long time election monitor and career Information Technology (IT) professional Garland Favorito, the co-founder of Voters Organized for Trusted Elections Results in Georgia (VoterGA). VoterGA is a non-partisan, non-profit, all volunteer, dues free organization that has led the election integrity movement in Georgia for 15 years.
On the evening of November 5th, Favorito notified in writing the county Elections Director, all members of the Election Board, and a county attorney about the irregularity. He also made an Open Records Request with them for spreadsheets of the interim elections results summary files that were transmitted to the Secretary of State. Such files would allow interim results to be reconstructed chronologically so an analysis could determine what occurred during the post-Election Day mail-in ballot processing. He received no written response from anyone in the county.
Although it is possible for candidate vote totals to decrease if a batch of votes are pulled out of the results for adjudication, the huge disparity between the vote counts for the two candidates in a single batch of mail-in ballots indicate a serious unexplained irregularity. Favorito stated in his affidavit that such an irregularity would likely result from:
– Malware in the tabulator,
– Improperly harvested ballots or,
– A ballot definition mismatch.Georgia uses similar Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5 ICP/ICC software also used in Antrim County, Michigan where 6,000 votes were erroneously swapped from Trump to Biden. Officials there ordered a hand count of all ballots to correct the error. Favorito was one of the first to recommend a full hand count in Georgia. On November 11th, Secretary Raffensperger ordered that hand count but Fulton plans to certify the results on Friday at 10am prior to conducting the count.
