Let us all hope that every rock that can be unturned is subject to rigorous efforts, for if it should turn out that an off-ramp or two were available, but were offhandedly dismissed for the sake of institutional pride that would assume the authority to double down? To isolate or contain a silverback gorilla or a virus? Far easier I’d imagine it would prove, than that of wider appetites…weighing all available information in the pursuit of a wider truth. The disdain for which many institutions have in recent years, been held? Between fashionable and earned..
