More on the video of the Quebec convoy:

It was posted by an organization called Fondation pour la défense des droits et libertés du peuple.

It works fine if you use the non-mobile FB URL:

Except that there seems to only be a black Zoom screen with periodic changes of text (location names?). There is a link to the event’s FB page at

Here’s a Google translation of their event description. It doesn’t seem to involve trucks… [The livestream was a video taken by helicopter, following a 100km-long convoy of trucks headed to the protest—MCM]

Today at 9:30 AM EDT – 4 PM EDT
Brossard, Laval, Sherbrooke, Victoriaville and Quebec
Public Hosted by Stephane Quesnel and Sonia Arguin
The Mega Convoy Auto event: honking in unison: October 24, 2020
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Imagine hundreds of decorated vehicles driving in a convoy that is several km long! Well ! This is what the Alliance Resistance du Quebec is preparing to do to raise awareness and demonstrate to the people, as well as to the authorities that govern us, that we oppose the baseless liberticidal measures that are ruining our existence.

You are therefore invited, all of you, to take part in this event from one of the three starting points. We will ride together for three hours in a symphony of horns, we merge to a point where everyone can resume their way home. During the journey, we will have a smart telecommunications channel on board our vehicles so as not to have to stop. A program hosted by the Colin Show, with Alexis Cossette-Trudel and Yandel Artist of the Helicopter. Stephane Blais, Dan Pilon and Éric Daoust and the other people involved will come forward with you all! You can also enter the ultimate common destination in your GPS: route de Lallemand, Lévis, Qc. At the end, there may be a rally stop if there is space.

There will be a door prize at each of the 4 starting points for the best decorated vehicle!

Starting points:
1: Parking at Dix30 behind the Winners.
2: Center Laval parking
3: Parking at Galeries de la Capitale (Simons side)
4: Costco parking in Sherbrooke
5: New departure from Victoriaville …

And others will merge, communicating with the convoy to find out the position. The merger between the axes of highway 20 and the 955 (55) from Pont Laviolette (Trois-Rivières) will be between 12:15 and 12:45.

The first convoy will leave at 10:30 am from Winners Dix30 to take highway 30 towards Sorel-Tracy in single file, then take the exit for highway 20 towards Quebec, until highway 55. At this interchange, the three convoys will merge to continue together until exit 330 (route de Lallemand).

The second convoy will leave at 10:15 am from Center Laval, in Laval, to proceed on Highway 440 East in single file, then take Highway 25 North and then take the 640 East to Highway 40, direction Quebec. The breaking point will be at exit 330 (route de Lallemand).

The third convoy will leave at 10:15 am from the Galeries de la Capitale to proceed on Highway 40 West in single file towards Montreal until the junction of Highway 55 South, direction Highway 20 East, towards Quebec. The breaking point will be at exit 330 (route de Lallemand).

The fourth convoy will leave around 10:45 am from Costco, in Sherbrooke, towards Highway 20 (via the 55), then head for Quebec.

A planned distance of 50 to 100 meters between vehicles traveling between 70 and 90 km / h will make the convoys safe. No stoppage is planned or any hindrance. Nothing is left behind: neither garbage nor objects. We are civilized and we will prove it once again.
