I was too quick to send out a caveat the other day, which I did in response to a subscriber who told me he had read through the entire document, and that there was nothing in it justifying the claim that the program is scheduled to go on until March 2025.
Dealing with too many things at once, I fired off my caveat on the basis of his say-so (he is, in general, reliable), forgetting that I’d read that schedule with my own eyes, as it’s on p. 1 of the document, just above this summation of the program’s purpose:
MPA Program Development Objective: The Program Development Objective is to prevent, detect and respond to the threat posed by COVID-19 and strengthen national systems for public health preparedness
I sent that subscriber three follow-up emails, asking for clarification, but he has not replied; so I’m sending this link out again:
