CDC cancels Halloween

Having helped impose a mandatory, endless Halloween on the whole country, with forced masking and no gatherings, the CDC is canceling the real thing.

(Of course, they’re spinning it as NOT-a-cancellation, but with trick-or-treating and costume parties “discouraged,” cancellation is exactly what this is.)

Next: Thanksgiving dinners with no outside guests, Christmas with no offline shopping, followed by no New Year’s celebrations.

Yes, all, as I predicted back in April, when this all starting become crystal clear. Gee, I wonder what kind of economic effects will be felt in 2021 when no one buys candy in October, less yams and birds for Thanksgiving and the malls remain essentially empty in December?
