From Andrew W. Saul: As far as I can ascertain, the “quote” is entirely bogus. I do not like “fact-checkers” very much, but in this case, I think they are correct. A Google search brought up several debunks. It is certainly not in Screwtape, a book I highly value, along with the trilogy.
