They gave him Actemra (tocilizumab)—a drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, and cytokine storms in cancer patients—along with high doses of Vitamin C. Sold by Roche Pharmaceuticals, the drug is very expensive (from $500 to $2500,depending on the dose), while Vitamin C costs little.

In any case, here is yet another drug that shows promise in this crisis, while Il Fauci and “our free press” keep hammering on the urgent need for that vaccine.
