A caveat on that piece about organic food

This is not a very reputable site. I've been reading their shit for years. Its always shrill and hysterical and rarely checks out. I’ve been on organic farms.  The USDA standard is in fact very strict—even onerous—that USDA study showed only 4% had unacceptable residues.  36% has some  and 60% had none. It’s never gonna be perfect, and there is certainly room for improvement. There’s probably pesticides in the rain at this point. Tough to be pure these days. But as always, caveat emptor and be especially wary of Chinese "organic”
