Letter from Dick Atlee, News from
Hello, Mr. Goeckner,
I read about the flu vaccination event at the Golden Globes, which I
I’m sure you’ve heard a ton about that event. I would just like to point out that the government Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System regularly displays the flu shot as the worst of all vaccines for adverse events. Coercing people by shaming (“anti-vaxxers”) or peer pressure violates the basic ethics of legally-required informed consent, and if anyone present were to end up with a serious injury as a result, it would be perfectly justifiable for them to sue the Golden Globes.
If the needles didn’t contain flu vaccine and someone was injured anyway, things would get very interesting. If they did contain it, I hope they were single-dose needles and the injectors weren’t reloading from vials that, without shaking, can deliver a serious dose of mercury.
I’m not sure what the point of an exercise would be that would have unknown people injecting unknown materials using needles of unknown origin into unprepared people who weren’t even given the CDC’s semi-factual information sheet.
Do you happen to know what the point was? Any clarification would be very much appreciated.
