Please read and see what’s happening in Gaza

From June 12, 2018

Although Gaza is no longer making "news" in the United States, the misery
there is overwhelming; so the nurses there still need whatever help you can
provide, whether by donating funds (a little goes a long way) or just by forwarding
this plea to others.

From Amal Arafa:

On Friday, the Israeli occupation army killed the child Haitham al-Jamal, and wounded many other children. They shot Haitham in the stomach east of Gaza. The video here shows his father saying farewell to him.

The army also killed Ziad Jadallah al-Barim of Khoza, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The father of three children, he was shot directly in the head. Here you can see his family mourning him.

Shortly afterwards, another father, Nabil Abu Darabi, was killed in the northern Gaza Strip, east of Jabalya refugee camp. This young man was killed by an Israeli sniper, with a bullet to the head.

And then a third young father, Yusuf al-Fasih of Shuja’iyya in eastern Gaza, was killed instantly with a bullet to the neck.

Aside from all this killing, more than a thousand young people were wounded, some so badly that they could only wait for death, with others left on crutches or in wheelchairs. Some of them will never walk again.

And I saw five of my own friends, five other nurses, shot right in front of me by the Israeli soldiers, who also wounded paramedics and journalists. They don’t differentiate, like they want to kill everyone. They shot a French photographer.

This Thursday, June 14th, will be Eid al-Fitr, the holiday that marks the end of Ramadan. This special day will be a sad one, with so many people now in wheelchair, and on crutches, and trying to walk on artificial feet.

We need for you to pray for us, and, if you can, please help these wounded to get the treatment and equipment that they need.

We are very sorry for this request, but we need whatever you can send us. If you can’t afford it, please send this to your friends, since some of them might be able to help.

Thank you šŸŒ¹

Amal
