The No Farms No Food® Rally is only one week away and it’s not too late to register.

New York State has lost nearly 4,500 farms to real estate development since the early 1980sDear Erica,

. This has got to stop. Join us at the No Farms No Food® Rally March 13 in Albany and tell Governor Cuomo and our state legislators how much you care about local farms and food. Check out our state budget and policy priorities. Pack a brown bag lunch made with New York State grown food. Register to join the No Farms No Food® Rally March 13!

Get on the Bus

There’s still room on the bus roundtrip from Union Square in New York City to Albany. Thanks to generous support from Slow Food NYC and Food Systems NYC, we are able to offer 10 need-based bus scholarships for people taking the trip from Manhattan! For more information on the No Farms No Food® Rally and the bus scholarship, contact us at newyork@farmland.org or call (518) 581-0078.

Special thanks to Melissa Danielle, who is helping organize the New York City bus. We couldn’t do it without you!

Message from Mark: "I am a one-man operation, although assisted greatly by some volunteers, and, now and then, by people paid by others for one-time projects. There is no shortage of skilled, dedicated folks out there who want to help me. There is, however, nothing I can pay them with, unless you decide you can contribute something."
