The president of NYU has a power addiction, some professors say — and they’re poised for an intervention.
In a mutinous move, faculty at the School of Arts and Science elected yesterday to hold a no-confidence vote on John Sexton, the university’s hard-charging president of 11 years, The Post has learned.
Sexton — a scrappy, silver-tongued lawyer who has taught courses on the Supreme Court — has been accused of routinely riding roughshod over faculty concerns as he plows ahead with ambitious, costly expansion projects here and abroad.
