It’s like Ohio, or Florida, on the Upper East Side, as ballot scanners quit

Mark,

Someone should go and interview people at this polling station! The scanners are down to two working ones, and the lines are crazy and people are frustrated. As one person put it, “if this is progress, I’d rather go back!”. The process is so slow and cumbersome, that people (I saw at least 5 in the 10 minutes I was there) people are leaving and NOT voting.

I heard the same thing was happening at West 74th/West End. The scaners (or lack of them) has slowed things down to a stand still!!

  1. Maybe after this election voters will have had enough of supposed ‘high tech” elections and go back to the gold standard: hand counted paper ballots.
