US media blacks out Italian court ruling that MMR vaccine caused child’s autism
Italian Court Rules MMR Vaccine Caused Autism
Valentino Bocca was given an MMR shot in 2004, at the age of 15 months. According to his parents, the change in his behavior was immediate. That same night he refused to eat, and he developed diarrhea during the night. It quickly went downhill from there. Within days he was no longer able to put a spoon to his mouth, and he spent nights crying in pain. His parents immediately suspected the vaccination, but were told this was “impossible.” Valentino progressively regressed, and received the diagnosis of autism a year later.
In the final analysis, the Italian Health Ministry disagreed with the initial conclusion of the pediatrician, conceding that the vaccine was at fault.
As a result, a court in Rimini, Italy recently awarded the Bocca family a 15-year annuity totaling 174,000 Euros (just under $220,000), plus reimbursement for court costs, ruling that Valentino “has been damaged by irreversible complications due to vaccination (prophylaxis trivalent MMR)i.” According to a featured article in the UK newspaper, The Independentii, about 100 similar cases are now being examined by Italian lawyers, and more cases may be brought to court.
“Luca Ventaloro the family lawyer, said yesterday: “This is very significant for Britain which uses, and has used, an MMR vaccine with the same components as the one given to Valentino.
It is wrong for governments and their health authorities to exert strong pressure on parents to take children for the MMR jab while ignoring that this vaccine can cause autism and linked conditions.” The number of autism cases has risen sharply since the 1970s, with one in 64 British children affected,” The Independent reportsiii .

Why is US Media in Black-Out on this Story?

It’s well worth mentioning that this story has yet to be addressed in the US media… The Daily Mail was the first paper in the UK to talk about it on June 15iv. The Independent was the second to print an article, on June 17. The Daily Mail was the most substantive of the two. Their version included the following statements:
“Judge Lucio Ardigo, awarding compensation to the family… said it was ‘conclusively established’ that Valentino had suffered from an ‘autistic disorder associated with medium cognitive delay’ and his illness, as Dr Barboni stated, was linked to receiving the jab. Lawyer Mr Ventaloro explained yesterday: ‘This is very significant for Britain which uses, and has used, an MMR vaccine with the same components as the one given to Valentino. ‘It is wrong for governments and their health authorities to exert strong pressure on parents to take children for the MMR jab while ignoring that this vaccine can cause autism and linked conditions.’
Claudio Simion, a leading member of the lobby group Association for Freedom of Choice in Vaccination (Comilva), adds: ‘The Rimini judgment is vitally important for children everywhere. The numbers with autism are growing. It is a terrible thing that the authorities turn a blind eye to the connection between the MMR vaccination and this illness.’”
The complete lack of coverage of this case in the US media is a potent example of how health information is flat out censored in the US. Is it any wonder so many Americans are still in the dark? Whether hearing about this case in the US media would sway you to believe vaccines may cause autism or not, the REAL story here is the fact that you’re not even being allowed to learn about it in the first place!

What scientific evidence did the court base its ruling on? Hopefully not Andrew Wakefield’s. Large epidemiological studies have been undertaken showing no link between the MMR vacine and autism by: U.S. CDC, American Academy of Pediatrics, Institute of Medicine of the US National Academy of Sciences, UK National Health Service, and the Cochrane Library. Please stop perpetuating this medical hoax; it’s costing people’s lives.

There’s actually been very little testing of the possible link between vaccination and autism.

Before you call the argument a “hoax,” and just assume that the Italian court relied on bogus research, you yourself should take the trouble to look into their decision.

There is actually evidence that thimerisol in vaccines causes autism and autism spectrum disorders. I’ve spent many hundreds of hours researching. Obviously the previous 2 comments have based assumptions on news articles only and not scientific research. John F Kennedy Jnr has also spent many countless hours researching. Visit his website for his research via scientific studies.

Vaccines have many different heavy metals that are known toxins to humans and animals. Why are they injecting people with mercury, aluminum, thimerisol etc. all contained in your vaccines. Enjoy.

What evidence did they base their decision on? Wakefields? I read they used Wakefields data. That negates any credibility to this. Courts don’t always make the right decisions…especially if they are using faked data to make those decisions. Are you antivaccine yourself? I see you have other posts on the HPV vaccine and the girl who turned out to have a tumor in her chest. I don’t see you added that to your post that she died from that, not the vaccine.

My comment is not based on “assumptions [in] news articles.” I’m on your side.

Its ridiculous to suggest that the court in Italy relied on Andrew Wakefield’s data. It is clear that they have reached a decision indeepndently. And if you think that the ” courts don’t always make the right decisions” what makes you think that the decision reached by the BMA in Dr. Wakefield’s case is right? After all, the BMA had much more of a vested interest in finding Wakefield guilty than an Italian court would be in finding for the child in this case.
Why do I say that? Simply because Dr. Andrew Wakefield’s theories, which are incidentally not plucked out of thin air, would have turned vaccination ” science” on it’s head, and upset the status quo.
And the British Medical Assosciation is much less biased than most democratic courts are.

Wakefields findings were perfectly valid, for the MMR vaccine circulated at the time.

Dense fools like Mark C above who don’t realise the MMR vaccine that caused autism was pulled and replaced of course won’t know shit about the entire situation.,\

He also places faith in several institutions known to be bought by big pharma to be providing reliable and unbiased information

“What scientific evidence did the court base its ruling on?”

There is no need for scientific evidence – common sense, a functioning brain and an ability to put two and two together is all that’s needed. The US health authorities know full well that the autism epidemic is vaccine-related, because they are not stupid, just evil. They convened a secret meeting in Simpsonwood to discuss it and agreed to “deny everything and admit nothing”. I guess if I had caused a 6000% increase in autism I would be tempted to lie about it as well.

Dr Andrew Wakefield defends his research

It’s in my opinion however not so much vaccination that’s at fault as much as he propaganda-induced ignorance which misleads parents into complying with the government-promoted vaccine child poisoning schedule.

It´s clear that thimerosal from vaccines especially MMR are the cause of many cases of autism or Autism dissorder, MArk is right when he said that Kennedy make his own researches I´ve seen some of this information too, greetings from El Salvador Central America.

From what I have read in previous stories on this, the decision was based on the child’s medical records and testimony from the doctors. This case has nothing to do with Wakefield. Are they now going to call this child’s doctors frauds, too? His medical record a fake?

I don’t want to argue anybodys POV, however i’m a mother of 2 children, and expecting my third. My daughter is 6 and is perfectly healthy, after having all of her vaccines. My son who is now 2 in April has exibited a form of autism since he was a late bloomer to walking, to hand feeding and making “oos and ahhs”. We recently had a Well Child Physical to find that the Dr had diagnosed him with PDD-NOS Which is a form of mild autism non specified. My son who is highly functioning now, can dress himself, feed himself, put on his own shoes (at 2) and comphrends everything you say to him, however does not speak. He’s just now making sounds to put together and gets very angry when he’s not understood. He’s a very independant child. I became concerned about his progress shortly after getting his vaccines. He started to show signs of autism by playing by himself, no eye contact, fixated on a specific item for periods of time. I wasn’t too concerned but i did look into independant studies reguarding vaccins and autism if there was any links. I asked multiple doctors and couldn’t seem to get any answers. I’m very excited to see that something has been done about the vaccines. I dont specifically know if the vaccine had anything to do with it, but if you were in my feet and had do handle my sons autism on a daily basis you would want answers too. My husband and I are reconsidering getting the vaccines for our unborn son, just out of precaution for my 2 yr old son.

[…] Now being a shot limiter comes with its own level of anxiety. Parents become solely responsible for researching which vaccine is administered at what age. Medical professionals are reluctant to answer your questions. When I arrive for vaccines, they ask me what shots he is having that day. There is no additional co-pay to return for vaccines, but there is also no discussion and no dialogue. Parents alone assume the responsibility. In addition, apparently you can no longer get measles, mumps and rubella vaccines separately in our area, so decisions, decisions, decisions. In our case, we delayed it until our daughter was almost two and then prayed real heard before the MMR was administered by her Pediatrician. In fact, last month an Italian Court ruled that the MMR was responsible for at least one autistic diagnosis (…). […]

Hannah Poling was developing normally and was chosen to be a typical peer in a class for special needs children. Walking, talking, socializing, till she got the MMR along with a number of other vaccines on the same day, and immediately regressed into autism. A federal court awarded her family millions of dollars, conceding that the vaccines caused her autism. Some say she had a preexisting mitochondrial disorder which made her unusually susceptible to vaccine damage. Her parents believe the vaccines caused the mitochondrial disorder. A recent study showed that the hep-B vaccine can cause mitochondrial damage. As many as 70% of autistic children have been shown to have a mitochondrial disorder.

Hundreds of thousands of parents just in the U.S. have seen their normally-developing children regress into autism and/or bowel disease within days or weeks of the MMR. My daughter reacted to the hep-B vaccine at birth, which I had said I didn’t want her to get, with four days and nights of endless screaming, vaccine-induced encephalitis, and was later diagnosed with autism. Of course I refused the MMR for her, so I don’t know what further damage would have occurred had I permitted it.

Judge Mitting found in his exoneration of Dr. Wakefield’s fellow-researcher Dr. Walker-Smith in March, that there had been no fraud in the Lancet study, and that the children had been appropriately treated for their diseases. That means that these nine of the Lancet Twelve really did develop autism and bowel disease (the other three only bowel disease) shortly after the MMR. You might want to say that in that small a number it might have been just a coincidence (!), but when you put them together with the hundreds of thousands of others who are being swept under the carpet by the medical cartel, it becomes harder to deny that the MMR, as well as other vaccines, can wreak horrendous and lifelong damage on many of those who get it. I had measles as a child, and, like most, I was sick for two weeks and then recovered. I reacted to a tetanus booster with both arms being paralyzed for two days (brachial plexus neuropathy), and went on to develop multiple sclerosis.

The deaths and disability that may be prevented by vaccines pale in comparison to those caused by them. Neither I nor my daughter will ever take another vaccine, and we will not see the end of this debacle until I am joined by the majority. It really doesn’t matter what the judge studied to reach his conclusion that Valentino Bocca’s autism was caused by the MMR. We laymen are on our own in taking control of this situation, since the medical establishment has turned its back on us in order to protect its profits and authority, and, in the case of many of them, stay out of jail. The judges, intelligent, well-educated men, are as capable as I am in processing the reams of evidence indicting vaccines.

Thimerosal is an organic mercury compound, It well known that Mercury is a heavy metal that produce volatile vapours which release mental, neurological negative effects on human being, that why We found, free mercury labels on paints, housewares supplies, light bulbs, batteries for toys and other objects in contact with humans. Now ask yourself, and you don´t have to be a doctor or kind of a genius to think why mercury is banned in those things and not on medical and dentistry material?. Dr.Jorge Driottez DDS El Salvador CENTRAL AMERICA.

Mark C says:-
“Large epidemiological studies have been undertaken showing no link between the MMR vacine and autism by: U.S CDC”

I assume Mark C is talking about the Madsen et al Danish studies, which apparently purported to show that neurotoxin mercury (Thiomersal), in vaccines is actually beneficial in preventing autism. These flawed studies are also oft quoted as ‘disproving’ links between MMR and autism. Poul Thorsen, one time CDC employee, was instrumental in setting up these studies and is part of the ‘et al’. When he resided in Atlanta, Geogia, Dr Thorsen lived in a big house, with expensive cars and a Harley Davison motorbike. Not bad on a researcher’s salary.

Dr Thorsen has now been indicted in the US on more than a dozen charges of fraud and money laundering, involving more than $1million of CDC (i.e. US taxpayers’) cash, and another $1million of charity money. Strangely, the US authorities seem in no hurry to extradite Dr Thorsen from Denmark.

I too agree with the Italian judge’s decision. The CDC has a website: It is the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. You can go to the website and actually download the reports in Excel format. Parents and medical professionals report severe reactions to vaccines. They range from a little rash to death. Sadly enough, only 10 percent of severe reactions are reported by doctors. If you believe that Wakefield’s studies are not valid, the CDC that so many anti-Wakefield people quote should look into the VAERS website. Happy hunting for truth.

If you really read all the research on vaccines and autism you will see it was disproven. Autism has been however linked to 3D ultrasounds perhaps the mom and some. Also as a child develops you will notice more delays if they have any. Typically a newborn isn’t going to show signs as a would an older child. Read the research ppl.

Wakefield’s research was not only valid, but it was verified by over two dozen other studies, some of which predate his by over twenty-five years. See for the list.

Plus, his co-researcher was completely vindicated three years ago in a medical court case, where the judge dissected the Wakefield study and destroyed the arguments that were used to persecute them and revoke their licenses (which is not the same as disproving the research, BTW). You can read that at

It’s amazing how people have no clue what is really going on with this stuff.
