LOS ANGELES — Former U.S. Marine Scott Olsen, whose injury during clashes between Oakland police and protesters last month galvanized the Anti-Wall Street movement, has been released from the hospital, friends said on Friday.

“He is out of the hospital as of yesterday or today, thank goodness,” Adele Carpenter, 29, told Reuters.

Iraq Veterans Against the War spokeswoman Dottie Guy also confirmed Olsen’s release to Reuters.

One Comment to “Scott Olsen, badly injured by the Oakland PD, is now out of the hospital”

  • If it wasn’t apparent before it should be now: the progressive liberal Democratic Party is not to be trusted at all. When the elections come in 2012 (that is, if Obomber doesn’t declare a state of emergency) then instead of voting for one of the choices from either the left or right wing of the business party, instead of voting for one of the so-called minor parties, write in “None of the above”. If millions of people did that don’t you think it would be noticed? Want to send a message? Then vote for “None of the above”.
