Georgia Parole Board’s Decisions on Troy Davis vs. Samuel Crowe Cases Almost Like Black and White

Samuel David Crowe confessed to murder, but was granted clemency by the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles.  Troy Anthony Davis, for whom there was no physical evidence tying him to a murder, and where nearly all witnesses retracted their testimony, wasn’t.

What do you suppose made those two cases different in the state of Georgia?…

  • The thing that is racist about this comparison is you are omitting the fact that the parole board has granted clemency to both black & white death row inmates. Basically what this show is extreme racism on the part of the people going with this comparison is that you automatically assume racism, not having looked at any of the information the parole board saw; the fact that this man’s death sentence had already been delayed 4 times prior to this, then you went searching for a white inmate who was granted clemency & ignored that there were black, Hispanic & Asian inmates that had been granted clemency in the past too! Let’s hear it for modern day racists screaming racism only when it’s a minority that they think has been wrong. If this had been a white man, you wouldn’t say anything.

  • Wrong Josh, it was known Troy’s case against him was faulty. Some white guy can apologize and get clemency while a case that had no strong evidence got a black man murdered? Get real.
