Hispanic Democrats blast remark comparing immigrants to hogs
By Catalina Camia, USA TODAY

Two top Hispanic Democrats in Congress slammed a Kansas state legislator for comparing illegal immigrants to wild hogs.

Rep. Xavier Becerra, D-Calif., vice chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, and Rep. Charles Gonzalez, chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, called on Republicans to denounce the comments by Kansas state GOP Rep. Virgil Peck.

Peck apologized for saying this week, “It might be a good idea to control illegal immigration the way the feral hog population has been controlled, with hunters shooting from helicopters.”

One Comment to “Shoot illegals from the air, “like feral hogs,” says GOP state senator in Kansas”

  • What is in the water in Kansas? Peck apologized? Big deal! We, as a nation, are finding out in a big way, that much like cancer clusters, our state legislatures seem to indicate ‘crazy clusters’! Have also heard that Peck is ‘pro-life’! In light of his comments, I seriously question his sanity, at the very least!
