Watch this (it’s not easy), and then send it far and wide.

mark, is there a reason why there’s no sound on this video?’

Individuals and societies are what they tolerate…we define ourselves.

We will either have the character to defeat this kind of fascism, or, we’ll devolve into a social order barely recognizable as the juggernaut of change and beacon of freedoms that was once the United States of America.

Horrible as it is to say, I’m betting on the latter outcome.

Excellent video that really shows how pointless and sadistic most of this harassment is. Note that the TSA screeners obviously don’t care at all — at all — about this woman and her rights. The entire evolution is not only a violation of TSA’s own rules, it’s utterly unnecessary. It is essentially a form of torture. And for what? This woman has done nothing wrong and is no threat whatsoever to other passengers or the TSA.

It would be better, however, if the person who made this video would learn how to spell. Spell check is not enough. It’s “you’re” not “your,” and “cite” not “site.”

Is there any update to this horrifying story? Is the woman suing? Did the agent (and the cop) get fired? What happened?

This is the same video of a mother of a several month old child and breast milk. Seems to be going around with a different story typed on each one..

The fat old blond TSA bitch stood around and did nothing while getting paid. The TSA manager is a bald headed prick and the cop is a jerk off. Please, any TSA employee, let me see you in public, you’re getting an ass kicking – promise.
You want to fuck with Americans and violate civil liberties, karma is a bitch assholes. You’ll get yours if I have to track you down one at a time.

I am in college right now Studying Aviation Science Utah Valley Univeristy, at about to finish a course in Aviation Security. The TSA as a whole is needed, but those workers in this video clearly did not know what they were doing. As a traveler you NEED to know what to do (and not do to ) with security before you get to the airport. Trust me, the TSA has hired a bunch of people to meet Congressional mandated deadlines, and by that they had to hire not the best quality of people.

I have to agree with Kaite and, Donna, why is there no sound? How do we know that this is about? and what is it to belive that the person who made this video isnt a bit biased?

Biased? It’s one long shot, with no editing at all. How would “bias” enter into it?

As for what was going on, Stacey Armato—the woman in the video—has posted her own comment on it. (I’ve posted that as well, so you may just search here and find it.)

Congressional representative and common sense in the same sentence – who’d have thought it was possible?

there is no sound because it is a secuity camera. but the employees of TSA were Fired. there has NOTHING to do with Janet or any from Washingiton DC as this happen in Feb 2010.. There were wrong an they went out of their way to behave like immature security. this was totally discrimentary and all she did was ask that her child’s BM be not xrayed and they immediate assued she weas a terriost. they didnt even offer her a seat.

Ok. so lets understan this. This happen in AZ in Feb 2010. since then, the employees were terminated and so was the supervisor.

There is one thing to know if the video authoricity is that the date and the time is not removed. because it shows the originality of the video 2. because it is a sucurity camera there is no sound.

This is not the government this, this is a group of employees who on this own refuse to follow guidelines and had NO respect to the customer. Because the whole video was not on there. I did not see a rudely passenger, but parts of the video is missing.
the security mnager who refuse to follow federak guidelines and created issues that was not called for. i would SUED them, and demand for the pain- agoney and suffering, contact the news who did the news and get more information. But I have seen worse. But my heart goes to her and that poor child who had nothing to eat because of this….

this Airport needs to review the Federal guidelines and find people who can work showing Respect to every one, but this woman was pregnant and asked one question. But was emotional and verbal abuse by a group people who has no idea what they were doing.

An activist friend forwarded this some time ago – almost a year, now. Have things changed since then? There was a narration & sound attached to the video I saw & it made the local news. The woman in question filed a complaint upon reaching home some time later. Harassing pregnant & nursing mothers is pretty rude (it’s downright Un -American if you ask me.) I never heard the end of the tale, and would like to know.
There are, I understand, several complaints and an on-going lawsuit concerning Phoenix TSA and other airport harassment on air flights to LA. (Two concerning dress adopted by male NCAA college athletes asked to leave the plane for “inappropriate dress”.)
