Let’s clean up the Gulf–and the Minerals Management Service!

From Ellen LeVan Schindler:

I decided to encourage Sen. Feinstein and her committee to do more about this, sooner. She is
already making a public statement about it : see her Web site – http://feinstein.senate.gov/public/.
There are a couple of good people on her committee,
but most of them are from interior states. And then there’s Lisa Murkowski.
I just sent Sen. Feinstein the following note at her
email address:
People from California can use her Senate Web address:
Voters outside California can’t contact her via e-mail,
but can call her office directly at 1-202 224 3841, or fax her at 1 -(202) 228-3954 or write her through
the USPO:
Senator Dianne Feinstein
United States Senate
331 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510

“This is a letter of support for your efforts to clean up the Minerals Management Service. Your committee’s investigation and support for Secretary Salazar’s proposals is long overdue. Please get on with it.”

Here’s the committee:

United States Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies
