Here is an important pre-election happening in Minneapolis. The Walk for Justice
will take place there on September 17 (which is the weekend I’ll be speaking at
some venues in that city).
Please join me in donating something in support of a particular walker, my good friend
Cynthia Moothart, a staunch progressive and all-around terrific human being.
Eleven years ago the Headwaters Foundation for Justice convened its first Walk for Justice to raise funds for nonprofits across the state. In its time, the annual event has grown into the largest gathering of progressive organizations in Minnesota: Last year about 1,500 individuals walking on behalf of 110 groups collectively raised more than $212,000. This year the 150-plus participating groups hope to collectively raise more than $300,000.
But reaching this goal requires your help.

Here in Minnesota we have the unique opportunity to demonstrate that sense prevails and decency is a common value. Please make your donation today and add your name to the list of people who already have financially supported that mission.
