Dear all,
I have just received this from Senator Kennedy’s Boston office. Now we need one like this from 40 more. Keep on keeping on. Sxoxo
KENNEDY ON HIS DECISION TO SUPPORT A FILIBUSTER ON NOMINATION OF JUDGE ALITO
Other than voting to send our men and women to war, there is no more important vote in the Senate than our vote on a Supreme Court nominee. This is a vote of a generation and a test of conscience. Judge Alito does not share the values of equality and justice that make this country strong. He does not deserve a place on the highest court of the land.
We owe it to future generations of Americans to oppose this nomination. If Judge Alito is confirmed, he will serve on the court long after President Bush leaves office, and the progress of half a century on the basic rights of all Americans is likely to be rolled back. HeÃs the wrong Justice for justice and the rule of law in America.

Talk about a “loser” who doesn’t get it. Your chimpy never did win an election, ever. These appointments are all bogus — illigitimate, as is this entire reign of error. No one will forget. When truth, science, and the enlightenment generally are resored to our country, history will show this to be an era of utter debauchery to our Constitution. Hopefully we can restore some balance in the Scotus in the future, but for a long time it will be scarred by an ideologue wingnut. That is what you don’t “get”. Try reading some history (real history) then you might understand.
